Thank you so much for sending me this memoir @novel.tours @penguinukbooks @twopencemiddleton - i dont usually rate memoirs, however this was a solid 4 ⭐️ read for me!

As someone who has been diagnosed with having OCD for the last 14 years, this memoir is incredible and highly relatable. The writing style feels so raw and genuine, to be able to relate to someone so well and fell not so alone through experiences is such a validating feeling.

If you have someone you know who has OCD and want to read a real life experience to understand them better, I would highly recommend! It really highlights the mental toll, fatigue and the daily struggles of someone with OCD.

I really enjoyed the 'ocd adventure' section which is a scenario and you pick a responce and it takes you to a page for the ritual or something of the like that takes you through the mind and process of someone with ocd - super cool aspect to have in a book.

Finally I really enjoyed the positive aspect of this book that even though faced with these difficulties that it does get better and it does become more manageable and 'that a life with OCD is not a hopeless one' ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨️ Glowing Embers Review

Thank you so much @paolasantanabooks for sending me the second book - I bloody loved this so much and the writing style is just *chefs kisses* 😘

In the second book we follow Marcelo flying to London to win back paige's heart after his major F**k up in book 1 - but he doesn't just have two heart to win as Paige has had their beautiful little baby Amber ❤️

Coming from a broken family herself Paige didnt want to hide Amber from her dad and now is the time for Marcelo to step up and show paige he can be the man she needs for both her and their coffee bean (also how cute is this nickname for their baby 😭🥹)

I loved that marcelos walls came down more in this book and he was really showing up for paige, there was so much rebuilding of trust and their relationship and seeing them fall in love again (apprehensivly) was just too cute!

This books has:
💚 mental health representation
💚 second chances/rebuilding trust
💚 first time parents
💚 emotional development

This book does have spice in the prologue but the rest of the book doesn't! I CANNOT WAIT FOR BOOK 3 ❤️🥰 I want to see more of their relationship as a new family develop and I swear if marcelos cousin does anything to sabotage them, I will reach in an punch him myself 🤣

Assassins Blade, book 3 in Throne of Glass - completed it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨️

I am gutted this isn't another 5 star book for me, but it took me ages to get into this one. I mean it literally took me weeks to finish it 😅 but after the halfway point I started to get sucked back in and was eager to read more. I loved the splashes of info we had throughout the stories which align with some of the scene from TOG and COM, that was fun to see. I really wanted to see more of Celaena, Sam and Arobynn so I think this is why I enjoyed the last 3 stories the most! Do I despise Arobynn even more? 1000%, I hope he gets a horrible end! Am I glad we got to fall in love with Sam first? They were adorable. DID THIS BOOK ABSOLUTELY BREAK MY HEART?! YES IT DID 😭 i gave this book 3.5 stars because i didnt enjoy the first couple of stories, the pace felt slow and I wouldn't have been eager to continue the series if I started with this book like a lot of people recommend, im glad I read it 3rd!

Ekkkk I had the best book mail arrive yesterday- book 2 'Glowing Embers' by the lovely @paolasantanabooks 😍 Thank you so so much for sending this gorgeous book package - I cannot wait to jump back into thw world of Paige and Marcello 🥰

If you love cute romance books, likeable characters, found family, set in Brazil and spice, definitely check out book 1 'playing with fire', it was a 5 star read for me!

Eeek!! Thank you so much @novel.tours and @georgiabeers for an ARC copy of 'The Girl Next Door'. I love, love, loved this!

I read this book in 2 days and throughly enjoyed it! We have Jenna who is a true book girlie and opened her dream bookstore (romance only!) Called booklove, it feels like a dream come true for her so when totally hot sawyer leaves a scathing review she is fuming! This doesn't start their relationship on the best foot, but what else would happen?! Oh right, they are neighbours too!

The book has it all, realistic likeable characters, great pacing, lovely relation build up with a bit of spice. It will have you laughing, kicking your feet with the cute moments and saying aww when seeing Sawyers family take Jenna in with open arms! If you love Sapphic romance i highly recommend. The only reason I knocked a star off is because I wanted a bit more tension at the beginning but I bought the audiobook to give it another read!
