7 months ago, I married the love of my life.

And quietly, we stepped into a new life together; one that we chose to protect, nurture, and experience without the weight of the outside world.

This season has been sacred.
Stretching. Refining. Beautiful in ways beyond words.

In many ways, we had already come to know each other’s rhythms, cultures, and hearts over the years. Marriage didn’t start something new. It grounded what had already been growing.

What’s been new is learning how to walk in true partnership: building something that now feels anchored, covered, and deeply rooted.

I’m reminded that not everything needs to be seen to be real. Some of the most meaningful growth happens in private.

A year of choosing each other.

Marriage is harder than it seems, but also more rewarding than we ever could have imagined.

We’ve learned that love isn’t just something we feel; it’s choosing each other, again and again, especially on the days when it would be easier to choose ourselves. It’s forgiving quickly, giving grace freely, and remembering that we’re on the same team.

We’re learning to gather the roses and leave the thorns. And I’d choose this life, and you, all over again-

For me i immediately think of two people:
#1 when i was going against what i knew God desired for my life, i was confronted with that divine love that said “while you are in your mess i love you” that love, so different from the fixkle conditional love of people, indpired me to press in and try to love tge same way back..

#2 i think of my attempts to love @infinitepossibilitiez
it’s such a learning process but i am finding that love it is not a feeling but rather a commitment.
