POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today we remember a cherished husband, father, son, family member, friend and treasured musician Jeff Austin.
His life meant so much to so many, his love, laughter, and presence will never be forgotten.
Losing him the way we did has brought a pain that words cannot fully express. We will carry both the love we had for him and the heartbreak of missing him every day.
May we remember him not only by how he left this world, but by the life he lived, the people he loved, and the memories he gave us. His story does not end with his death. He will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever part of our hearts.
Thank you, all for your continued love and support. We truly appreciate every message, tribute, memory, and kind word sent our way. Your love and support have meant more to us than we can ever express these past seven years.

Much love,

Independent record stores around country were recently provided with the release of a limited-edition “Indie Exclusive” second pressing of The Simple Truth. YepRoc Records is proud to have printed 500 copies of Jeff’s solo album on an EcoMix vinyl color variant, only available through local record stores. There are more pressings to come in the future and we are still holding onto a few copies of the first-edition vinyl records that we will release from time-to-time in the future so keep watch for those drops. Big thanks to @yeproc for continuing to support Jeff Austin’s legacy! by @jeffaustin10

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Jeffrey — Dad. 🤍
Even though today feels a little bittersweet, it also brings so much comfort to see how deeply you’re still loved and remembered, seven years later.
Your music continues to live on in so many hearts, including ours, and that means more than words can say. We’re so grateful for the years we had with you, and for everyone who continues to honor your memory and keep your spirit alive every single day.

We are heartbroken about the passing of our dear friend and folk hero Todd Snider. His impact on Jeff Austin was immeasurable and their friendship was not just marked by music and mayhem, but by brotherhood. When Todd wrote “Sail On, My Friend” after Jeff’s passing, he gave us comfort that they would see each other again someday. We just didn’t know that it would be so soon. May paradise be filled with their stories & songs - and be forever shared & heard here on earth. by @jeffaustin10

Jeffrey / Dad we are deeply grateful for the time we had with you… some of us were privileged to share a little more time and some, regrettably, so few. But you left an enduring legacy, touching our hearts in a way that will forever be remembered.

Your music remains an endless source of strength and comfort within our hearts. And so many others. We miss you more than words can describe.

Each year I try and do something special on Jeff’s birthday so that the kids memory of him never fades. We like to celebrate him by sharing some of our favorite memories of him. Enjoying his favorite foods, listening to his favorite music and watching some of his favorite movies but most of all watching the Cubs play!

Please join our family as we celebrate Jeff’s life by sharing some of your favorite Jeff moments, pictures or songs of his you love.

Happy heavenly Birthday Jeffrey. We miss you. by @jeffaustin10

Jeff’s affection for the @gratefuldead was well-known to those familiar with him, a passion inherited from his mother, Eileen, a lifelong devoted fan.
Jeff meeting and playing alongside @phillesh remains a cherished family photo memory to this day, one that our family will always treasure and appreciate. This experience is forever etched in our hearts, and we are eternally grateful. Our thoughts and prayers are with Phil’s loved ones, close friends, and all those who feel his absence deeply.

Merch drop in 5 minutes!!…the fourth annual Jeff Austin collectible ornament is a bit late to the party, showing up now for Christmas-in-July…but we could not let the series grow cold!

So, we have created thirty of these laser-etched wooden ravens, carved from basswood, with 2023 etched in the back, and individually numbered in a limited edition of 30 pieces.

This ornament commemorates the incredible cover artwork of Do Not Let The Body Grow Cold, illustrated by Johnny Sampson of MAD Magazine. The raven was Jeff’s spirit animal and a constant presence in his imagery.

***ONE PER CUSTOMER ONLY - DUPLICATE ORDERS WILL BE CANCELLED***

Orders ship USPS for delivery in 2-4 weeks. Any items purchased alongside ornaments will be shipped together. Order other items separately for faster delivery. by @jeffaustin10
