Rufus stopped at the Department of Agriculture to say hello and see if they needed to offload honey. He explained that honey is a great thing to use to quickly increase a T1's blood sugar. 💙🍯💙🍯💙🍯💙🍯💙🍯💙🍯💙🍯💙🍯

It's no secret that Rufus makes friends wherever he goes. He advocates for people with type 1 diabetes, even at the U.S. Treasury. He never takes a break, and he does that to honor those who have T1D, for they, too, never get a break. A big shoutout to this kind soul, Monty. 💙 by @jeffthebowser

This photo shows some of the red and blue reinforced areas on Rufus's body, which are meant to help teach children and their parents how to administer finger pricks and give insulin shots. I pointed these out in my meetings on Capitol Hill. Have YOU got a Rufus? Let's see him! 💙
