A little late in posting this, but thank you all sooo much for all of the birthday wishes this past week! This is the big 4-Oh... Oh sh*t, where did the time go?! Youth is gone in the blink of an eye it seems, but you guys always seem to know how to make this "old Jeller" still feel special. 😝
Well, aside from my whole entire family spoiling me absolutely rotten, I got just what I wanted for my birthday... and she will arrive April 2026. ❤️

✨Reset your nervous system with me?✨

Everyone’s been fighting on my feed, there has been nothing but complete chaos and discord in the last few days. I’ve never seen my peers this divided and calloused towards each other in my life. I admit I’ve gotten sucked into a couple of arguments/heated discussions and honestly? It really didn’t go anywhere and it didn’t make me feel any better about anything, did it make you feel better?

I think it’s time to stop and take a breath, reset our nervous system a bit, take a beat and a break from social media and all the toxic vitriol flooding our minds. When I think back to why I ever joined any social media platforms back in the day, it was simply to connect to new and old friends that share the same love of music as I do.

I haven’t played guitar in a good 2 and a half years or so because I’ve been busy being a new mom and taking in all the time that I could bonding with my little one. But today I felt compelled to play, to remind myself why I’m on this silly old thing and why I love playing music; To connect to our human side, the creative side that breeds life and love and inspiration, and not the destructive side that has been taking hold of our humanity for so long now. I hope I can inspire at least one person to do the same this week. I hope the algorithm doesn’t bury this in favor of the destruction.

I know my playing is far from perfect, and I’m not the best I could be right now since my chops have faded quite a bit. But I’m making the effort to rekindle the flame of creativity today. Will you join me?

Before this long, loooong day is over (long story!), just wish to express how grateful I am to be married to the person who changed my life forever, in the best way possible. I have no regrets in life thanks to you, because all the bad things that ever happened to me and all the dumb decisions I ever made in the past had ultimately led me to you, and to the most precious thing you ever gave me: our lil' kid. 🥲 8 years together, 5 years since we got married in the courthouse, 3 years and 1 day since we celebrated with family and friends. All the years have been full of love and gentle growth, and I'm looking forward to so many more, with you. ❤️ @justin___taylor

THRILLED to show you all my latest piece, another one for ⚔️ @wrathhammermetal ⚔️! I gotta say, this one has been one of the most challenging covers I’ve ever worked on and I am immensely grateful for the amount of time I was given to truly pour my heart and soul into it (and tons of research as to how to draw certain violent but otherworldly scenes - lemme just say that I watched a LOOOOT of Mortal Kombat 11 scenes on YouTube for reference, hahaha). I can honestly say that after working on this piece my imposter syndrome has been annihilated once and for all! I’m incredibly proud of the amount of details that I put into it, the tremendous hours I spent researching how to draw Dungeons and Dragons style characters, amongst many other things, pulling all-nighters and squeezing in time between taking care of my baby and spending family time whenever I could. Being an artist isn’t always easy, but it’s very fun and so worth it when you are actually happy with your own end-product. Thank you to the fine fellas at Wrath Hammer for once again trusting me with your vision and allowing me to bring it to life, I’ve learned so much from this process once again. Their EP ‘DAME TU ALMA’ out now across all platforms, check them out! 🤘🏻

39 and feelin' fine! Apparently the odds of being born as a human are estimated to be 1 to 400 trillion, so I quite like to celebrate existence, personally- it's pretty kewel. Thank you to everyone who took the time out of your day to wish me a happy one, it truly means so much. 🤘🏻☺️

As I reflect on the last decade and enter the last year of my 30's, I'm feeling immensely grateful for every person who makes reciprocated effort to be a part of my life, as well as all the people who have been learning lessons to let go (and let grow).

I had a loooot more typed up on FB with bullet points but IG won't let me post as many words haha, so here is the rest in a nutshell:
The biggest takeaways for me from the last decade are to choose people who choose you, focus on what you want and not on what you don't want, make it a point to laugh every day even if it's over nothing, remember that only people who don't have kids are "the perfect parent" haha, lower your expectations of other people-not so that you won't be disappointed as much but because it will allow for them to show up more authentically in your life, and if tgey don't show up then refer to the first takeaway up above. And let go of the mistakes you've made in the past, you've already learned your lessons from them! You're allowed to move on. ☺️
Uhhh and therapy, lots and lots of therapy. Especially if you think you don't need it! Thank me later. by @jelenataylor

Wanted to share this in an actual post: I have been honored to create this piece of artwork for this killer track of @wrathhammermetal - "HORRORS OF THE ROT" is out now on all the usual platforms!

For being someone super into death metal and the like, I found it pretty challenging to draw something so grotesque as a man willingly surrendering to his supernatural cult of rotting, melting away flesh? But I learned so much about skeletal and muscular human anatomy in the process that I had so much fun with it once I got going.
My favorite part, aside from the music itself, was learning the lore behind the music and lyrics. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming EP!

I'm currently booked through July but August and onward is free, and am exclusively working by word of mouth only at this time. If you or someone you know needs band art feel free to DM me. 🤘🏻
