Chicago was a blast! Flew out to visit my boy @body__hammer, keeping it a secret from everyone else to surprise them at the concert. Got to catch up with old friends and make some new ones as well!

Seeing a lot of year-end wrap ups so I guess I’ll put mine out there as well.

2024 was a year with a lot of ups and downs. Bout to bullet point this mf-

Highlights:
- Getting to watch my daughter grow into a little toddler has been so incredibly exciting and fulfilling.
- First European trip ever (Serbia and Hungary) was awesome
- First date night with Jelena in a year and a half
- I didn’t play that many shows with Knight of the Round this year, but the shows we did play were all awesome (special shoutout to Kent and @ongakuoverdrive for the hospitality and bringing us back to Orlando)
- Finally finished recording and mixing the new KOTR album (releasing next year), which includes songs we’ve been sitting on for 4+ years. Major props to @wilbanx__ for engineering the whole thing at his studio.
- Silent Hill 2 remake, FFVII Rebirth

Low points:
- almost dying from accidentally severing an artery
- Not spending the amount of time with friends as I would have liked (namely vgm homies)
- Chicago white Sox
- Getting even more backed up on my gaming log (only really played FFVIIR and SH2R this year)

Happy New Year everyone

Today my band @wrathhammermetal released our debut EP “Dame Tu Alma” and is now available on all major streaming services!

We have been sitting on this for quite some time and it feels so good to finally be able to share it with you all. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did creating it!

Extra special thank you to @jelenataylor for perfectly capturing the subject matter of our lyrics within a single frame. Your hard work, attention to detail, and dedication to our vision is greatly appreciated!

This release was recorded, mixed and mastered by myself here in my home studio @innsmouthaudio and I’m very proud of how this set of songs turned out.

Crack open a cold one and bang your fucking head to our new EP! We’ll be taking this live before the end of the year. 🤘

Alien Romulus dropped the other day so here’s some original Alien fan art I made for Jelena Taylor’s self titled death metal project in 2022! I’m going to go try to see it soon, I love the Alien series and especially Jonesy 🐱

Part 3 of my adventure to restore this Ibanez RG450 with new electronics! This is an update showing the soldering process after finally being able to acquire Japanese-style pots that fit into the hole.

Part 2: Tearing out the existing electronics and mounting the new pickups. The new potentiometers have a different diameter shaft, so they did not fit through the existing holes. I had to order new ones, and they should arrive soon.

Serbia trip photodump #1
Since you can’t post more than 10 photos at a time in 2024, we’re doing this. Words can’t explain the emotions, time travel, best food in the world, friends, family, music, and the city I grew up in, all at the same time. Thank you all who made the effort to meet up, and I apologize to the ones I missed this time, but next time we’re not waiting this long. It’s been an amazing trip 🇷🇸
Part 2 coming soon

My sister @jelenataylor gave me a great project guitar, a 1993 Ibanez RG450! I absolutely love these guitars, and it’s a good opportunity to learn putting in new pickups.

I got my soldering iron, I got new DiMarzio D-Activator pickups and assorted hardware, so stick around for the final finished product!
