Happy 10th anniversary to Lou Lou & David, who threw what might be the most rock’n’roll wedding we’ve ever photographed! The ceremony took place at SF’s iconic Odd Fellows Building, officiated by a musician friend on a desk that once belonged to James Brown (yes, the Godfather of Soul!). The reception? At a former department store turned art-filled family home that also houses the country’s largest two-headed calf museum. Red Meat and The Teutonics brought the house down with live sets. @the_teutonics even deployed a magic wheel of dread to dump beer on unfortunate guests. The details were just as on-brand: custom guitar picks and boutonnières encased in bullet casings. The highlight of the night was Lou Lou & David taking the stage themselves as the Whateverglades, backed by the Chuckleberries, playing the most gloriously cynical country songs you’ve never heard at a wedding. David said it best: “We had a ton of friends and relatives help every step of the way. This was the best way we could imagine the whole thing happening.” Happy anniversary to this sweet, creative couple! Still the wildest, most wonderful day—swipe through for a peek. #rocknrollwedding #offbeatwedding #sanfranciscowedding #sfweddingphotographer taken in San Francisco, California by @jemenfiche

Candy Whips’ sophomore album, “Artificial Melodies” is out today on Kitten Robot Records. This is the first album with the live band and the first one I am on so it’s obviously the best. Super excited!! Please give it a listen and pick up a copy if you didn’t grab one at “Liquid Sky Fever Dream”. Link in bio 💋💋 by @jemenfiche
