Dear Leroy,

The Green Bay Packers drafted you in 1990 when I was 12 years old. I was and always will be so thankful my parents raised my sister and I in that same city. Packers football was, is and always will be the driving culture of my family, that city and far beyond. You started the Lambeau Leap. You were a huge part of our SuperBowl XXXI winning team, which is one of the best days of my life. In 2022 my husband and I scheduled our day around watching your induction speech into the Pro Hall of Fame. And I teared up at the bar like a baby. On Friday, my husband and I were at the HOF museum, and stumbled upon the event where current and future members were walking into the building. You came over to us with your huge smile because we had our Packer jerseys on, and I went speechless. I am rarely without words 🤷🏻‍♀️. All I could do was cry happy tears and hug you three times. You even took the pictures because you correctly identified I wasn’t capable in that moment to remember how my phone worked. Thank you @leap3636 for always being a huge part of the Packers family. This will always be an epic life highlight we will never forget💚💛🫶🥹💚💛 by @jemgenx

For my whole life, I have been surrounded by amazing Moms. It is impossible to highlight all of them with the level of celebration they deserve. However…let us never stop trying! This year especially I would like to celebrate my Maaa. She is brilliant, loving, beyond extraordinary, beautiful, ahead of her time in so many ways, and I could never ask for a better Maaa. She is my hero. To my extraordinary, iconic daughter that’s about to finish seventh grade, to my angel daughter waiting for us in Heaven, for all my bonus kids that let me mom them even if they don’t need it - thank you for making me the luckiest mama in the universe.🤗🫶💛 by @jemgenx

Social media family: please wish a huge Happy birthday to my amazing beyond belief sister! She is the CEO of the OG Meyer family. There is simply no way we would have made it through the last 18 months without your big brain and energy moving us in the right direction. Dear Baby,

Tonight at about 8:28, you become a teenager. Happy birthday! I remember so clearly the minute you were born and I heard you cry. From that moment on, my favorite sound in the universe is the sound of your voice. Whether you’re standing up for your family & friends, or the injustices of the world. Whether you’re laughing or making us laugh. Whether you’re info dumping or explaining 13 year old things. Whether you’re teaching us about life or learning about it. When my parents are born and raised in Wisconsin and specifically moved back to their home state to live in Green Bay, my DNA is Green Bay sharp cheddar, and my blood type is green and gold - iI never thought the NFL draft would ever be in my hometown. Yet here we are. I am bursting with pride of how well everyone in town, county and state made this magic happen. Always amazed how my Day 1 & DNA sharing sister manages 400 variables at any given time and puts up with all my requests/demands, including managing the cats and Daisy’s epic battles 😜. My brother in law always makes us laugh and takes the best care of us. My amazing niece and nephew made so much time for us, and I am so proud of those humans! Overwhelmingly grateful for our Wismer family and forever fun club sisterhood to make so much time for their Louisville family. So excited to finally attend our first Rock Diesel brewery competition and bursting with pride for my brother Gabe taking 2nd place in the People’s Choice HH Hinder home brewers contest. Best beer EVER! So thankful Maaa and Daddio could spend so much time with us and spoil us!
Thank you hot husband for going with the flow, my too fast brain and being my ride or die every minute. UWSP family @nate and @kevin anne: I am so sorry I couldn’t make quality time happen during these 3 too quick days, but excited for shared summer time. My amazing sister does more before 7 am than most do in a day. Doesn’t matter if she’s carrying on the Meyer traditions of teaching, lasagna, Caesar salad, quick naps, and UT football. Or being the mom that makes all the concert weekends, vacations, school stuff and careers happen. Or the wife that makes the biscuits and tries to slow down once in a too rare while. Or the aunt who is laser focused on always nailing her niece’s Christmas list and everything she wants to do on vacation. And let’s face it…being my sister means managing regular demands of fresh cream brûlée, HuHot, constant CCQ bowls, weighted blankets, tuning out both my golf coaching, as well as me asking her 50 times a day “why don’t you sit down for a second?”.
