9.13.26 One year older today! 🎉🎈✨

Anaiah, you are truly one of a kind. You’re my loving, cuddly, funny, silly, sassy, curious, observant, creative, adventurous, and always ready to explore, child! You love a good movie, cooking together, creating things, and most of all, quality time with the people you love.

You have the biggest heart, and you feel things deeply. You care and you show it. You love your family fiercely, you love your friends well, and you have this beautiful way of making the people around you feel seen.

This past year, I’ve watched you grow in so many ways. You’ve faced fears, worked through challenges, tried things that weren’t always easy, and come out stronger on the other side. And one of my favorite things about you? Watching you stand in front of the mirror and remind yourself just how beautiful you are. Giving yourself pep talks 🥹. Believing in yourself. 💗

So today, I want to remind you of a few things:

You are beautiful, not just because of the way you look, but because of who you are.

You are kind, your heart is HUGE and giving.

You are strong, even when you feel scared.

Your voice matters. Your feelings matter. Your ideas matter.

You don’t have to be perfect to be amazing. But you kinda are 😉!

Keep being curious. Keep creating. Keep exploring. Keep laughing way too loudly. Keep speaking up and never lose that voice. Keep trying new things. Keep giving yourself those pep talks in the mirror. And, keep being wonderfully complicated all while becoming the girl God created you to be.

You deserve a world full of love, joy, adventure, good friends, belly laughs, cozy cuddles, and people who remind you just how special you are.

And no matter how old you get, I hope you always know that your family loves you deeply! I will always be here cheering you on, encouraging you, loving you, and reminding you of who you are (although I know you won’t forget!)

It’s KayDay 🎈! I’m grateful for all of the years we’ve gotten to celebrate together, but this year my gratitude for you feels especially deep. You’re someone I talk to freely about everything and anything. We laugh, we cry, you listen when life is hard, and you celebrate with me when life is good. You have a way of making even the most ordinary moments fun. You challenge and encourage me, and at times help me see things about myself in ways I might not have otherwise.

Through our quirks, personalities, stories, jokes, trips, convos, and all the little and big moments we’ve shared, we’ve woven together a beautiful tapestry of friendship and sisterhood. This year, watching you walk through one of the scariest moments in your life was so difficult, but the way you’ve pushed through and fought for your health has become an inspiration to me. So most of all, I’m grateful for your life.

Grateful that you’re here. Grateful that we get more time, more ordinary moments that aren’t so ordinary, but become the best memories.

Seeing my girl stand before an audience this week and sing her little heart out has brought me so much joy and pride. I always feel so honored to have a front-row seat in her life and to watch how far she has come vocally, musically, and most importantly, in her confidence.

Truth be told, she was born gifted and talented, but as she continues to get better and better each day and with each performance, her growth has come because she has chosen courage over comfort. She’s doing the hard things, even when she’s nervous.

Ava, I’m proud of the girl you’ve become and the young woman you are becoming. You are pushing past your fears and dedicating time and effort to your craft. It is a joy to watch God use you in this way at only 12 years old! It blows my mind.

Happiest of Birthdays to my best friend @jen.parks ! As we get older in life, we start to understand the value of using terms in correlation to people and we don’t use them loosely. For over a decade , (which is crazy to say) , Jen has been nothing short of being a consistently beautiful human & The humor with us has always been top tier. lol Being who she is has always made me want to be more of a listener & move in kindness with others. She doesn’t look to use people, she looks to give. Honesty though, my bestie is just a vibe & I just really trust her.

I’m so grateful for our friendship Jen. You really are family to me. Through my hardest moments, even in this year ,you have been there. Reliable. A person I have consistently laughed with while also being someone who has listened through my tears. I honestly think you deserve the world in this life & I’m praying that God answers every prayer that your heart desires.Im grateful for your life & Im always here. Thank you so much for being you ! 9.13.25 🎈Anaiah is 8! What a beautiful Weekend was had celebrating you ! You deserve all of the love and attention ! Anaiah you are such a light in my life and in our home. From the moment you wake up to the time you go to sleep, you bring joy, laughter, and so much love into our family. I love how silly and goofy you are, you have a way of making everyone laugh and remind us not to take life too seriously. What makes you even more special is how true you are to yourself. You don’t worry about what others think; you’re just happy being you. You’re full of gifts along with the most tender and thoughtful heart. You care deeply about others, and you always notice how people are feeling. That empathy and kindness make the world around you a better place, and I pray you always hold onto that part of yourself.

My hopes and dreams for you are simple but important. I hope you keep enjoying your childhood; play, laugh, and soak in the magic of life through your lens. I hope you continue to be brave, to ask questions, and to think for yourself. I hope you never stop loving people deeply, finding joy in the little things and carrying that carefree spirit that makes you so you. Keep overcoming each challenge as they come, just as you do now, and keep your sparkle alive bc No one can ever take that away.

So, always remember this, You are deeply loved just as you are. Nothing will ever change that. I am so grateful that I get to be your mommy and be present to see all the beautiful things you do and will do as you grow.

Happy Birthday Bestie 🎈 !! I’m so grateful to celebrate the amazing person you are today (and always). Today I hope you feel loved , at peace, joyful. I could write a book about the fun we have, the laughs and tears we’ve shared, the memories we’ve made and how much you’ve made an impact in my life. All of that will never change but this year I really just want to type out some of my favorite things about you, bc it’s been a yearrr you know? Yet, here you are, shining, lighting up everything and everyone around you. ✨So here we go—- your laughter, it brightens up the cloudiest day, your resilience when the weight of life feels heavy. Your prayers even when the answers seem far, your joy even when the road to keep it alive is hard, Your faith is unshakable and it inspires me to believe, daily. Your hope is contagious, one conversation with you lifts me up for days. Your love is endless; you show it with actions, not just words—loving me and mine unconditionally. You never give up. You’ve taken major steps this year and your courage inspires me to challenge myself. You choose peace above all, no matter what you have to walk away from. You bring out the best in everything you touch. The way people feel immediate comfort in your presence. The way You despise injustice and challenge people to think beyond the “norm”. Your kindness to a stranger, your inclusivity, your love for family and friends. I guess I really did write another book but that’s bc I feel blessed to know you. You’re not only my best friend but my chosen sister. An incredible godmother whose kindness overflows. Just last night, on your birthday call, I heard the girls describe you as brave, independent, and kind. They look up to you so much—they watch, learn, and imitate you because your actions speak as powerful as your words. You are part of the village that helps shapes their hearts and minds.

So, Thank You. Life is richer, brighter, and fuller simply because you’re in it. May God give you many more years or life full of love, joy, peace, health and wealth :) Happy Birthday !!! 🪢
