My baby goddaughter turned 9 yesterday. At her party , after everyone sang happy birthday , she asked the whole room to sing again and to sing to me as well because my birthday was the day before lol.

This is a mirror of her heart. She is full of empathy and full of care, wonder & excitement. On top of the fact that she is just so hilarious. I look at her sometimes and I think, if I was her age, i would want to be her friend 🥹. We really are two peas in a pod. Forever my baby!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY ANAIAH PAPAYA!

A few years ago @jen.parks and I said we would do a big girls trip for the year that we turned 35. I can’t remember why we decided that but we have talked about it since that year, up until this point. The year was slowly ending and even though the original plans didn’t happen, I’m so glad this one did! We really just had so much fun from the time we boarded the plane, until this point that I’m writing in the airport. There’s nothing better than enjoying cool places with the people we love! We crammed almost everything in the time that we had, saw new things, ate random foods, and constantly laughed. It was well worth it and more. I really do believe life is meant to be enjoyed, we just have to make time to do so! I love you Jenny! Until next time :) —-

Happiest of Birthdays to my best friend @jen.parks ! As we get older in life, we start to understand the value of using terms in correlation to people and we don’t use them loosely. For over a decade , (which is crazy to say) , Jen has been nothing short of being a consistently beautiful human & The humor with us has always been top tier. lol Being who she is has always made me want to be more of a listener & move in kindness with others. She doesn’t look to use people, she looks to give. Honesty though, my bestie is just a vibe & I just really trust her.

I’m so grateful for our friendship Jen. You really are family to me. Through my hardest moments, even in this year ,you have been there. Reliable. A person I have consistently laughed with while also being someone who has listened through my tears. I honestly think you deserve the world in this life & I’m praying that God answers every prayer that your heart desires.Im grateful for your life & Im always here. Thank you so much for being you ! Love you so much!

Yesterday my goddaughter & I drove up to Jacksonville to listen to my “little” cousin @brandnfrazier preach to 100’s of young adults. I was there when he preached his first sermon some years ago and to see how much He has fully allowed The Holy Spirit to take over what He’s doing is a beautiful thing to witness. It’s not just him though, it’s his brother as well, my other cousin @domandonly41 . Their lives are a complete 180. Young men both loving and serving The Lord in whatever capacity God is calling them to.

I couldn’t help but think last night of whoever was in the generations before us praying that the lineage would know God. With the world we live in, two brothers giving their lives to God is nothing short of miracles and prayers.

We can do so much in this world, but to be honest, only what we do in Christ will last.

Sidebar: I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many young people in a regular weekly night service. The youth still want God

A couple of weeks ago, we said, “till next time” to a family that has served so well in our community. In Deeper Arrows friendships are fostered and love grows. We pray Gods blessing on you Rayden, Royal, Randall, Riyell. We pray God surrounds you with many new friends that also become family. Till next time. We love you!

Happy 12th birthday to my goddaughter, my girl, Ava 🫶🏾. I love seeing the person she is and is becoming. She’s absolutely a comedian , she lives in a space of gratitude. She’s humble, kind and thoughtful. What a joy & privilege it us to not only be her godmom, but to know such an amazing kid. Here’s to 12 :)

I’m currently being discharged again and sitting here waiting for transport. I had to go back in. It’s been a crazy two weeks! But one surgery and some meds later, I’m walking out a new person and half robot.lol.

I think it’s completely unfair of me to publicly share my heights and not my lows. God is good when it’s good and He’s good when it ain’t so good. He’s been with me through it all. 🫶🏾
