Hi, I'm Jen! 💛

Just over a year ago, I joined @slimmingworld to take control of my health, lose weight and gain confidence. Since then, I've lost 7 stone, discovered a love for running, and have become stronger than I ever thought possible.

Lately, I've had a few weeks of small gains despite sticking to the plan 100% (apart from a 2 week holiday in Rhodes). It reminded me that this journey isn't always a straight line—and that's exactly why I wanted to create this page.

This account is my journal, but it's also a place to show the reality of a weight loss journey. The highs, the setbacks, the training, the victories, and everything in between.

If my story helps just one person keep going when things get tough, then it'll be worth sharing.

It's never too late to rewrite your story 💛

From just before I joined @slimmingworld in June 2025 to holidaying in Greece in June 2026, 7 stone lighter and so much confidence gained 🥰

It still blows my mind that I can eat all of this and more and lose as much weight as I have. I've always had a big appetite and I love that I don't have to feel hungry to lose weight. I've never felt healthier and I'm also the fittest I've ever been!

One more stone to go to reach my target, I'm more determined than ever to get there now 😊💪🏼

Bit late posting this morning's results as I had such a busy but wholesome morning with my new parkrun squad! 🤩

I'm actually really pleased with a 0.5lb loss today! My time of the month is due and this normally means a gain for me so any loss this week is a great one! I think being ill helped a bit as I lost my appetite for a couple of days 🙈😂

This means I still haven't reached target yet, but I am creeping ever so close to it now! Just 1.5lbs to go! 🥳

Planning everything I can for this week to hopefully smash that target goal for next weekend! 🤞🏻💪🏼

What a great morning that was with the best running crew!

After feeling crappy with a cold all week, I finally woke up feeling more human this morning so braved the cold for a run with these amazing guys and I'm so glad I did! 🥰

My chest still felt a bit tight so I took it at a steady pace and still came out with 30 minutes 29 seconds finish time!

Chatting over a coffee afterwards was so lush! Looking forward to our future ventures already!

Really love this running community ❤️

Been feeling under the weather this week, my body finally gave up and I got the dreaded cold that's been doing the rounds 🙈

Woke up this morning feeling like I was hit by a bus and this pure comfort food has definitely helped to make me feel better 🍲

My go to when I'm ill is normally heinz cream of tomato soup but to stay on plan I opted for the @tesco low fat tomato soup which is just as delicious and warming! I always keep a couple of tins in the cupboard for emergencies and it's only 1 SWIP on the @slimmingworld plan

Paired with a Tesco wholemeal deli roll for 1 HEX Fibre choice

For dinner my hubby made me the @jdseasonings spicy meatballs and wholewheat spaghetti 🍝 it was so tasty and a good level of spice to hopefully blow this cold away! 🤞🏻 Used passata for the sauce and also chucked a load of speed free food in for extra vitamins (chestnut mushrooms, peppers and carrots). Completely free on SW 😊

✨ Ｄｉｎｎｅｒ ✨

Last night's @slimmingworld dinner was a favourite but with a little glow up.

@pataksuk tandoori chicken and masala wedges seasonings (both free on SW plan), these are eboth so flavoursome, I always enjoy this meal! 😋

Paired it with a crispy leaf salad, pomegranate and fat free greek yoghurt 😍 I love making an interesting salad like this and it was all so quick and easy to do!

Absolutely buzzing! My first 10k in a town near where I grew up made for such a special experience 🥰

The atmosphere and support was electric! ⚡ I smiled the whole way round and spoke to so many great people, I genuinely enjoyed every second!

So proud and happy with that, I know I can definitely shave 3 minutes off for a sub 1 hour for a future race! 👀

I am absolutely amazed that I got another loss this week! Another 1.5lbs off!! That's 5 weeks of losses now! This hasn't happened for a long time!

It definitely goes to show that trusting in the plan definitely works! & I also upped my running this week too so I think just getting out and moving more has helped me to stay focused 😊

A lovely family Saturday morning at my Halloween obsessed nephew's birthday party 👻 @markbeatsyesterday took the weight loss too far this week, he's a mere skeleton 💀😂

Only 2lbs to go til target now! Wonder if I will get it next week?? .... 👀
