We’ll be launching early bird tickets for our next coworking event on Monday exclusively for subscribers! Join the mailing list to get your invite 🍎

The Last Supper Club is building a sanctuary for creators of all kinds, and one of the ways we’re doing that is by hosting Holy Shit Coworking Rituals, because we are not meant to create alone. The experience is designed to help you tap into creative flow and build meaningful connections with other Los Angeles creators! It’s also a great way to meet new friends.

We’re also hosting pilgrimages to see inspiring art, community events, and showcases! Check out our calendar and follow so you don’t miss our next announcement!

Update: My father is now alert and communicating. There is a ways to go in recovery, but he’s doing well. Thank you for your prayers and love. It made a world of difference!

Original Post:

Our family would really appreciate prayers and thoughts for my father today 🪽

Currently he is in the ICU after a bypass surgery last Friday. Today we are looking to get the ventilator removed so that he can start communicating. There seems to be some good progress this week so we are hopeful. Appreciate the love! 💜 by @jen_bouchard_

At the end of year, I’m thinking a lot about the word authenticity. Personally, I can confuse triggering emotions with being authentic, and from those triggering emotions is what I call “my truth”. When really the truth could be what is behind the triggering emotions if I sit with it a little bit, calm my nervous system, and let it pass.

Same with desires and things that I want. Sometimes desires can be projected onto reality, creating an illusion, then acting authentically on that illusion. If we see reality how it really is before us and not the illusion, our point of view changes, and so does our authentic expression.

So ya that’s the rabbit hole I’ll be going down! 🧐

Here’s a few fun moments from 2024 🥳

Much gratitude for @lawomenstheatrefestival for providing a platform to work out one of the most important poems I’ve ever written.
It made all of my other poems make sense. Like the last piece of a puzzle I’ve been putting together.
It has been something I’ve been struggling with ever since I decided to write about my past and unravel what I went through.
There truly is nothing like putting pen to paper with the things in your life following you around. Haunting you.
I can finally move on. In peace. With direction. With purpose. With forgiveness. With hope. With love. ♾️ by @jen_bouchard_

So incredibly grateful for the beautiful, welcoming space @micanddimlights 🦋💜
This piece, “Dirty Bleeding Girl”, from my collection White Helmet, is a particularly challenging one to share, as it takes me back to a painful period as a sexual assault survivor.
However, I am able to see the growth in my healing which is exciting. When I shared this poem for Healthy Housing Foundation and Open Doors NYC, there was a looming feeling of still being raw. As if I exposing a part of myself I was not yet ready to reveal. This time around, it was a wave of peace and calm, and pure gratitude for the experience. Cheers to more growth and healing 💜🦋
Thank youuu @hadassahsheir for recording ✨
