One Photo Friday!! ⛰️🤍

I feel like this photo perfectly captures the phase of life we’re in! Josh carrying all the kids’ stuff in an old soccer backpack, me with my mega fanny pack full of snacks, two cans of bear spray because we’re still overly cautious 😂, and our 10 year old son taking our photo while Josh and I kiss and embarrass him.

I’m just really loving this phase of life. Even though it feels new not having toddlers anymore, this season has been so sweet. Hikes, trips, sports, conversations they’re finally old enough to understand on a deeper level, and getting to do it all alongside Josh. ❤️ Feeling grateful for this season of our family trying to just soak it all in.

Happy Monday photo dump!! 🤍
Just a little reminder that we can share the everyday, mundane moments on here too. This week wasn’t full of exciting adventures or epic beach days. It was full of everyday life simple moments, hard moments, and sweet community.

I want to share these little moments because they don’t always show perfection, but they do show reality. Sometimes when life feels mundane or repetitive, or you don’t see huge, fun, exciting changes or adventures happening, it can be easy to feel alone or like you’re missing something.

But God has been reminding me that He is still working in my heart during these mundane weeks. He is still walking with me, even in the ordinary.

Teaching cycle brings me so much Joy!! Also I felt like these leggings kinda felt like Fall 😂.

Just felt like this needed a place on my Instagram because this has been our reality for MONTHS now 😂!!
I wish I could say I’ve only laughed about it, but the truth is, it has made me very grumpy more often than I’d like to admit 😂. But it has also caused me to listen to a LOT more worship music, and honestly, I think that’s been a really good thing. 🤍

This heatwave is NO joke!! 🥵 It’s on a whole other level, and I told myself: no whining, no complaining… which honestly feels impossible when there are pumpkin spice lattes and beautiful sweaters everywhere! 🍂☕️
Soooo, what did I decide to do??? Be inspired by the invisible Fall and try to dress for Fall during a heatwave. Instead of relying on sweaters and layers, I’m trying to find inspiration in Fall colors, patterns, and textures instead. And honestly, it’s been so much fun! 😂🍁

Time for One Photo Friday! 🤍
Remember the white wall and a cute outfit? Before it was called a “fit check,” back when the influencer world was still so small and mamas everywhere were sharing their favorite photos, products, and little pieces of life to help one another out?

That feels like such a long time ago. Maybe I’m just nostalgic… or getting old 😂 But I miss it sometimes.

Yes, I love a good reel. And I love that mamas can stay home with their kids while also providing income for their families. That’s all epic, and I’m here for it. But I also loved when people shared what they loved without worrying about views, whether something was “cringe,” or whether it fit into a niche.

We didn’t worry so much about having a niche. We just wanted people to get to know us and see a little sneak peek into our lives.
