A Bittersweet Farewell with a Grateful Heart

Today, Derek and I officially sold Walker’s Drive-In, the restaurant that’s been our heart and soul since September 11, 2001. For 24 remarkable years, we’ve been honored to serve this community—creating memories, sharing meals, and watching families and friendships grow here.

To every loyal guest who dined with us, cheered us on, and welcomed us into your lives—thank you. And to our incredible team who stood by us through every busy night, early morning, and special event: your dedication, passion, and hard work built Walker’s into more than just a place to eat—it became family. We are forever grateful.

Though this chapter ends, our story continues. We’re thrilled to begin our next culinary adventure at The District at Eastover, where we’ll keep bringing people together through great food and hospitality.

With all our love and gratitude,
Jennifer & Derek Emerson ❤️
