This beautiful summer filled with all the love I could ever ask for. I feel like I’m about to explode with it all. I was completely and utterly surprised when my @trustearth got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Some years ago something made you walk into my shop. We fell in love on the spot and I will never forget what I felt in that moment. A sweet and quiet comfort that you would always be by my side. We’ve intertwined our lives into a love that feels completely out of this world and somehow the only thing that grounds me to this world. To celebrate this on Italian beaches surrounded by romance and love and warmth and spritzes was a dream. You’re my dream and maybe this whole life is a dream but I’ll be here for it until it all bursts one way or the other. I love you Matt. I love all my friends. I love my family. And I love all yous guys on the internet too. It’s fun to share your love sometimes even if it’s on a silly little app by @jennagiusto

Italy is a special place, worn in a way that only time can accomplish. No fake patina. We stuck mainly to places only Italians go to vacation, ordering only with hand signals and wondering if we were offending the local manners. The food is so good I returned bearing 20 more pounds than when we left.

It seemed only right to prepare weeks, maybe months ahead of our departure to Italy an engagement ring that I kept mightily a secret to most everyone, save a few close friends. Jenna didnt know and that was the goal since the start. I wanted it to be a surprise, and it was indeed. Well she said yes and now she is stuck with me for life.

Life with this woman has been easy from the start, even though we face challenges that sometimes feel bigger than either of us. We turn toward each other in lifes most difficult of times and I have always felt she has my back. If you know her, you know she is down for anything. Her humor is clever, her mind is sharp, talented at anything she tries. She works hard, but shes relaxed. Well read, and a sensitive human. An eye for style, and a great taste for movies, food, and art.

There isnt a manual which to draw from to tell you when is a good time to commit your life to someone. The past full of trial and errors. Full of mistakes you must learn from or dare repeat. I guess your heart will tell you when its a good time, the only hard part, listening. I believe in love and people and goodness of the world, I always have. Its a beautiful world out there. And I guess all I can say is I am glad to have found Jenna in some mysterious way, out in the world -- during, maybe, the most challenging time I have ever been through. But we found each other. And now we are here. by @jennagiusto

Rang in my 30th year surrounded my most favorite people. Feeling so grateful for the life I’ve built with my life partner. For my beautiful friends who been wit me thru all the things. 20s were weird. I was sick for many of those years. spent them in what felt like an endless, daily loop living under complete control of a chronic illness. I still have lots of bad days @trustearth_ has to hear me say “my head fucking hurts” alll the time, but my life looks a lot different now compared to those years. I’m doing all the things that bring my joy which is the only cure for anything. Our healthcare system ain’t helping nobody. Here are some lovely pics from the last couple weeks. this is one of my favorite albums of all time. with a video I took a while back from a special night on ocean beach. I love all of my friends and my family and my matty and san francisco and my horsies. feel so grateful for all of everything.
