POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
My candle is lit |
my rituals are happening 🌹🔥⚔️🗡️🕯️

In my RAGE and in my ROAR
I started to remember my own memories and the memories of friends when it came to being assaulted by a MAN.

My womb started to pulse and I listened

Healing is needed for our wombs - sit in the vibrations of the womb consciousness in its healing ✨✨✨✨

I WANT Womb consciousness TO RISE and when it does the world will remember the healing and the darkness that a womb can move in - magic. ✨

Harvest is not another demand to produce. It is the pause in which we finally see what grew.

What truth is ready to be received? What dream no longer wants to remain an idea? What are you carrying from habit rather than devotion?

At GATHER, we will meet the season honestly: receiving its fruit, releasing what belongs to the field, and choosing what will cross the threshold with us.

First | The True Origins of the Word C✨nt

To look at the history of this word is to witness how patriarchal culture weaponizes language to control female power.

Long before it was relegated to the status of a shock-word or a vicious misogynistic insult, it was simply the word with deep power.

Etymologists trace its lineage back to Proto-Germanic roots (kunton), closely related to ancient Indo-European terms for creation, birth, and womanhood (sharing distant linguistic soil with words like queen and genetics !

2. Cosmic Womb | The Dark Void of Creation

In ancient mythologies and esoteric traditions, the universe did not begin with a blueprint; it began in a womb—a vast, unformed, dark, and pregnant void. Before light, before matter, before form, there was the great matrix.

Learning so much AND being a domestic Goddess all at once. 😝

🪽From the frantic rush of school drop-off straight into the altar room.

One minute I’m managing the 3D realities of motherhood, and the next, I’m grounding my energy, tuning my crystal bowl, and holding space for a grief ritual.

Straddling these two worlds
the craziness of the school run and the deep, unseen work of the mystic
takes a conscious pause.

We don’t talk enough about what it’s like to wear both hats: folding laundry one minute and tending to collective sorrow the next.

Let’s normalize being entirely human and deeply devoted all at once.

How do you weave the sacred and the everyday in your own life? ✨

🌵 Being a mother and a mystic in this day and age can feel deeply confusing—though it was not always this way.

When mothers, children, and elders were anchored in the rhythm of the natural world, navigating both the sacred currents of the mystic and the daily devotion of motherhood felt natural and interwoven. Communities existed to hold, resource, and sustain you.

Today, however, the cultural script demands that we do everything and carry it all entirely on our own. In a world built on hyper-independence, who has space left for the mystic?

What if we reframed the narrative? What if motherhood itself is a profound expression of mystic energy?

Let’s normalize this conversation and speak it into the open. Stay tuned. by @jennhepton

THRESHOLDS | HECATE does not cast light to banish the blackness; she illuminates the terrain so you can finally see where you are standing. 🔥

🔥She looked upon my shame - the childhood conditioning, the fertility grief, the changing flesh, the rebellious spirit - and she recognized it not as a flaw, but as my sacred initiation.

🔥She knew what the daughter of immigrants was never taught: that you do not conquer shame by being better, thinner, quieter, or more productive. You dissolve it by refusing to abandon yourself while you feel it.

🖤To sit in the SHADOW without turning away, to feel the heat of the shame spiral without reaching for a distraction or a performance of perfection, is the deepest alchemy there is.

It is an invitation to dance with the shadow, to inhabit it fully, to let the old grief of having to earn love burn away in Hecate's fire.

🖤On the other side of that holy descent, the fragmented pieces knit back together.

🐉 I emerged from the dark mother's womb irrevocably whole, imperfect and feral-remembering.

🦅The threshold demands a death.
It asks us to sit in the void, ride the contractions, and burn every mask until only the core remains.

And then →the rebirth.

Too often, we do this profound remembering in isolation. My dream is to bring the sacred back into circle: an initiation fire where our sisters gather to witness. I want to DRUM for your descent, wrap you in warmth when the MASKS fall away, and hold the perimeter while you burn what no longer serves. And when the labor breaks open into light, I want us dancing around the sparks, fiercely CELEBRATING your return.

Women are might to cycle!
Let's remember.

MIDLIFE || As I read and dive deeper into the patriarchy's grip on both women and men, I CRY and I ROAR. As I learn more about masculine and feminine energies, I move into a place of resilience that only the great mother is able to pour into me.

My mother lost her wholeness, believing she was doing what’s right by conforming. She comes to mind a lot as I learn about womb activating and midlife awakening.

I feel from her own life and the first act of my own life, that we were scared to embrace our true selves, we’ve been shamed for not centering men as a culture - my opinion - because that is what social media is - opinions/ thoughts. I want to put that in the field. 🦅

Yet, as non-patriarchal women at midlife, the reclaiming of our wisdom - whether you identify with witchcraft or not is happening and essential is a women in her WHOLENESS.

The label of "witch" embraced those in touch with their intuition, her EROS and grief where all women thrive! Did you FEEL that! I did! 🐉
This can be painful but also there is a powerful shift towards remembering who we truly are - this midlife threshold - the womb remembering. 🌀

As I write this and place it here for you, I think of my beloved mother, and all other mothers, whose sadness about dying stemmed from never seeing this threshold herself. And perhaps never knew it was there for her to walk through.

I refuse to let that be my fate or the fate of the women in my circle. I REFUSE !!! 🦁

With love,
Jenn 💖

Midlife 🌹 | from my medium article | 🐍

I remember the moment when I felt like I was tumbling into the midlife threshold completely blind.

✨ I woke up in pain. I could neither think nor remember what I did or needed to do; I could not feed myself or remember to take my supplements.

I was spinning into a dark hole.

🐍Nobody talks about how raw, disorienting, and physically violent this passage can be.

✨By my fiftieth birthday, inflammation flared in my joints, heavy brain fog settled into my mind, and emotional estrangement widened between my husband and me.

✨Standing on an open hotel balcony during my fiftieth celebration, an inner voice whispered into the quiet: stepping off the edge seemed gentler than continuing to mother in this confusion, in this dark void.

Stepping into death felt far easier than navigating an invisible threshold that felt like complete destruction.

Then I met my coven ~♥️

The coven that THEY burned + took away and told we were better off without!

Sisterhood. Witches. Priestess. Mothers.

Around a flame witnessing each other 🪄

More to come. If you are in your midlife threshold - the darkness - the void. You are not alone and you can’t do it alone.

Stay with me for more 🦅

🌀 SHAME + MIDLIFE || As I sat in the dark void
with contractions,
with the feeling of loss,
I was in a full shame spiral.

The midlife threshold,
the dark mother,
the void,
the darkness
will show you all your shadows
and mine was SHAME.

Shame that I couldn't be a mother naturally.
Shame that I was gaining weight.
Shame that my brain wasn't working.
Shame that I was getting older.

My whole childhood was ruled by shame,
and I painfully see that in my own parenting
feeling shame about everything - until I didn't.

I felt shame in wanting to be whole,
wanting to feel the magic of the worlds,
and not wanting to be only a domesticated human,
a domesticated mother.

And there she was,
holding the torch
in my darkness,
in my most painful moments of shame:
HECATE.

She knew something I didn't know at that time—
that this SHAME
was and is my initiation.

My holding of the shadow.
My witnessing of the shadow.

We, as women, carry the shame of the world
because—I feel—patriarchal men are unable to do it.
They are unable to feel the shame, the grief, and the discomfort
of the shadow without fighting against it to the point that they destroy themselves and others.

Women see the shame.
And the women who are doing the work,
the women who are healing, can sit in the shame
and the shadow and know that there is something to release,
something to let go, knowing that their wholeness is on the other side.

It took me being at my darkest hour
and the light from HECATE'S TORCH
for me to sit in shame,
dance with it,
perform as shame,
to understand the wisdom it carries for me and for the collective.

from my medium article | MIDLIFE THRESHOLD 🌹

In a patriarchal world that prizes effortless productivity, each loss felt like an indictment of my worth. When my two-year-old son was finally in my arms, I anticipated a feeling of accomplishment. Instead, I sank into an ocean of profound loneliness and postpartum depression, largely because of how a patriarchal culture demands that a womb produce a child, only to leave you to figure it out on your own.

What a cruel world.

In my deepest depression, my mother was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Watching her final two years became a harrowing mirror. She had spent decades performing self-erasure, centering my father while abandoning her own soul. Fear paralyzed her as the illness took hold, and she left this world consumed by the tragedy of an unlived life. Her words haunt me today: “All I wanted to do was visit Paris.”

It is a reminder that I will use to drive me to purpose.

[ more to come ] part 1

If you are in your midlife threshold, stick around - I have a lot to say about it and you aren't meant to do this alone.

London 🪄

It is a strange, powerful feeling to return to a place as an entirely different version of yourself.

The streets feel different.
The people feel different.

I am different.

This trip belonged mostly to family, so I was not able to catch up with many friends or revisit all the old spots close to my heart.

Still, simply walking the streets and taking in the city’s energy was enough. I move through it now as a grounded, midlife woman, fully rooted in who I have become.

As a woman who has walked through the midlife threshold - this was a powerful experience for me. I walked the streets seeing all different version of myself with timelines collapsing in the present moment.
Until next time, London.
