Have you ever come back from a few days away and told everyone that your trip changed your life? If not, I highly recommend some travel in your near future. That’s besides the point…

But did the trip itself really change your life?

No, not just yet. Let me explain.

What someone really means when they make that claim isn’t just what they did, but how those experiences made them feel. And boy, did this half business half pleasure getaway do just that.

This past weekend I was in the room with 400+ coaches who want to better themselves and their business. We all were actively present to learn from people who have had ‘success’ in the fitness industry. I put that in quotes because the definition isn’t the same for everyone, but all who spoke on that stage has achieved a high level of financial success and more importantly, helped a lot of people.

I want to help a lot of people, too. As many as I can. And I know I can be doing more.

This trip had me asked myself hard questions. It challenged my beliefs. It confirmed my purpose. It allowed me to make new relationships. It had me meet the woman I know I am capable of becoming. It shifted my mindset.

And that’s what these trips do. That’s how they change your life. If you allow them to. If you’re open. If you’re willing.

The next time you have the opportunity to better yourself I encourage you to go for it. In travel and in life. I will support you. Always, all ways.
