you are wise, and the way you speak life and insight and truth over your siblings, the way you talk to and play with little kids, the way you lean into friendships and the leadership in your life, the way you hold my hand when we walk, the way you answer the phone with your sing-songy helloooo, the way you love people and love your alone time, the way you look at Lennox when you guys do your secret handshake, and everything else points me and others to THE Way, Jesus, all the time. and i’m just amazed by you and by Jesus in you.

this is Jack, one of Alivia’s dear friends and i want to share him and his story with you so you can pray for him and give if avid leads you to.
he broke his neck last saturday and is paralyzed from the neck down. there have already been updates about feeling coming back and surgeries going well, but i just want to share so you can pray whenever you think about Jack and his family.
as fresh life church we’ve been reading through the gospels and seeing Jesus’ healing power specifically with people who paralyzed. i just believe God is more than able and i also know He is good and faithful. by @jennielusko

God didn’t invite suffering to the party, we did. But it is His will that our pain would not be wasted, and would instead produce glory in Christ. God doesn’t just leave us in our suffering to figure it out, He went first and became the ultimate example. by @jennielusko

i’m grateful my husband makes me wake up at 4am to do things i wouldn’t do on my own!
