I have been at war with my body for as long as I can remember. I sometimes fear looking back on my life, just to remember that I was never truly happy with her.
Parts of her, sure.
Some days, yes.
Many moments spent proud & in love with her.

Yet, a lot of the time, most of what I may remember, is the war between my relationship with my body and my love for myself.

Never really remembering a time where I was not wanting to change her in some way, shape, or form.

Who am I beyond this body?
I know the answer.

Why then, is there a constant desire to change or improve my shape? Some say it’s healthy yes, but is it possible to fully accept and love your body while also trying to change it?
Must I master one, before I work on the other?

And if I don’t figure this out…if I don’t “fix” this…if I don’t really learn what it takes to fully love my body, then how will I teach my daughter? How will I teach my son? 🥹

Perhaps these are the negative thoughts that come with working out & a constant desire to be better.

Is my self awareness rooted in love or is it rooted in shame?

Shedding this desire to change, change, change & instead fueling my love for my body, where it’s at in every moment, is one of my highest intentions for this year🫶🏼 by @jennylopes

You are not your body.
When this body dies, and your soul continues on, will you have spent all your time worried about how your temporary vessel looked?
You are infinite.
Is it possible to embrace yourself exactly how you are, and know that your body is meant for more than looking good?
It’s for more than having abs or a round booty.
So much more.🫶🏼

My first time on the East Coast was so incredibly fun.
Definitely want to go back to Pittsburgh! Beautiful city, good food, fun spots, and incredible people!

Drove to WV & watched the UTES game.
Ate at some incredible restaurants!
Stumbled upon R&B night where we met some friends we clung onto the rest of the time 😜
Irish danced around the city.
Watched the Steelers game at a fun brewery.
Memories were made!!!

Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.
If you know me, you know that my mindset is my greatest strength.
I see the good in quite literally everything.
Sometimes people ask me how I am the way I am, and I don’t know. God gave this positivity to me. My parents love and faith probably helped.

2025 has been an absolute sh*t show.
From one of my closest friends passing away unexpectedly, to being in the hospital with sepsis - and literally more, couldn’t tell ya everything because woe is NOT ME!
One thing remains;
MY LIFE IS SO FULL.
My heart is happy.
My faith is strong.
My outlook on life is the same.
I love living and I’m so grateful to be here to experience all the things.

For sure could go without the hospitalization again though 🙃

March & April were 10x better than January & February.

When you’re going through something hard, sometimes it feels like the hardest thing you’ve ever gone through because it’s your present circumstance.

2024 was one of the best years of my life.
So blessed to have my two incredible children!
Surrounded by an abundance of love & valuable friendships!
A beautiful & caring family!
A career I enjoy!
An unshakable faith & relationship with God!
A healthy body & a healthy mind!
So grateful to be alive another year, another day, another breath🫶🏼❤️

Beyond grateful & in awe of how amazing life can be!!
Focus on the good & the good gets better.
Think about what you want more than you think about what you don’t want.

Had such a fun birthday weekend 💗
I have so many people in my life who I have the pleasure of loving and this isn’t even 10% of em’🥹
