Always so proud of Cece doing something hard that she doesn’t particularly enjoy. This was her third year of doing her school’s Run Club—after a month of practice, they finish their “season”‘ with a 5K. When she sets her mind to something, she works really hard to reach it & this was no exception. She wanted to run more than her once/week practice so we ran a few times together so she could run the whole 5K without stopping & break 30 min. It was HOT today (new record high temp of 88 degrees in Columbus 🥵) but she absolutely crushed it finishing in 28:36!

Also—parents/siblings are allowed to join in the 5K & she always asks me to run with her so I love being able to do this with her 💕 by @jennyrodrick

Fall Festival Week at TRES is always the BEST! 💙🧡

Donuts with a grown up before school, fall festival on the weekend (Cece played all the games & Lucy volunteered with her BFF), and this year the fun walk was moved to this morning due to rain last week. Our PTO is one of a kind and goes above & beyond for every school event! Hard to believe this was our 9th and last fall festival week 🥹 by @jennyrodrick

We have a teenager! Happy 13th birthday, Lucy! 🎉💜🎂

From her party with friends over the weekend to having her friends surprise her at her last home XC meet today, she’s had quite the time celebrating turning 13! (And literally has the most amazing friends 🫶🏻) She even got a PR & was barely outsprinted at the end to get 5th place.

Watching you grow into such a sweet, kind & thoughtful person has been one of our greatest joys & we feel incredibly lucky to call you ours 💕✨ by @jennyrodrick

Girls are getting ready for school to start in just a couple days! Meet the Teacher tonight for Cece & she is excited to get a locker this year in 5th grade (more so to decorate the inside 😂). Lucy had her schedule walk through & school pics last week for 8th grade & is excited for her final year of middle school! by @jennyrodrick

One last getaway this summer before school starts! Quick 2 day trip to Niagara Falls (the view from our hotel balcony was unbelievable) with a stop at Niagara-on-the-Lake (their annual Peach Festival was taking place so it was crowded but I can’t wait to go back again to explore more) and a stop at, of course, a National Historical Site as we made our way back into the U.S. in Buffalo by @jennyrodrick

“What? Like it’s hard?”

Countless hours of practice this summer & hard work paid off as the @olentangycommunitytheatre performance of Legally Blonde, Jr was fantastic! Lucy had the best time performing & we’re so proud of the dedication she puts in 💕🎤🎶 Night 1 was a packed house & luckily night 2 was still able to go off without a hitch as the rain started right as they were finishing by @jennyrodrick

Celebrated Cece’s 10th birthday to the full extent these last couple days including shopping at the mall for her birthday party (mom hack—this was the easiest & best party idea Cece has had 😂)

Still in disbelief that our “baby” is now double digits & will be starting her last year of elementary school next month 😭 by @jennyrodrick

Spent a few days away at our family’s cottage in Pennsylvania—lots of cousin time for the girls, afternoons at the lake (including 3 of the kids participating together on a team in the annual triathlon & winning trophies 🏊🏻‍♂️🛶🏃🏻‍♀️) and evenings with the whole family (18 of us total!) by @jennyrodrick
