A very special thank you to @isawkwardguy for taking time out of his incredibly busy schedule to put together such a heartwarming and thoughtful video for @jermynation ❤️

For someone who is usually busy roasting people in many different languages, you somehow managed to leave us feeling incredibly touched and eternally grateful 🥹 Of course, not without getting a little roast in and putting Jermyn’s love for languages and words to good use!

Beyond the humour and incredible linguistic talent, is the kindness behind this gesture. You didn’t have to do this, but you did, and it means more to us than you know. During some of the toughest moments of Jermyn’s life, when he was enduring nights filled with pain, comedic videos like yours became an unexpected source of comfort. There were countless nights when he would lie awake watching your videos, laughing to himself, and for those few precious moments, forgetting the pain he was in.

I had written to you simply to thank you for being that little ray of light during a very dark chapter of his life. You probably never thought it as a difference you were making, but sometimes, making someone laugh is so much more than just making them laugh. Sometimes, it’s helping them get through another difficult night.

And so, to have you go a step further and make this video especially for him, despite your busy schedule, is a kindness we will never forget.

It might be a small act of kindness to you but it leaves us a lifetime’s memory. We promise to pay this kindness forward and hopefully bring the same joy to someone else’s life that you’ve brought to ours.

My corporate queen by day and domestic goddess by night. As a good friend said, Shay is slaying as usual. We spent a good chunk of our Sunday morning on this photoshoot. I'm very proud of her for taking directions so well whilst working with a mandarin-only photographer and for resisting the temptation to bring home more photos. In a season of so much stress and transition, I'm feeling like the luckiest to have her be my constant. by @jermynation

🧿The way some of you gently reminded me I forgot to tag @jermynation in my last post or blatantly asked me if the wedding was still on lol! Defo didn’t forget him; Was saving the best for a dedicated post!

Took my favourite person to my favourite place and somehow he still made me feel like his favourite view 🌸 Korea has always been my happy place but watching you experience it with me made it 10x better. My favouritest trip to Seoul yet.

10/10 travel companion, 11/10 hype man, 12/10 appetite. Would absolutely bring you everywhere with me again.🧿

April-May dump
Médée with The Opera People: no cap the most insanely difficult music I've ever had to learn but so satisfying. It was giving metal vibes and I just felt like head-banging during the second performance. So grateful to the whole team for bringing me in and being so incredibly patient with me.

Carmen with Singapore Lyric Opera: what a team. Everyone was incredibly supportive and just such a fun team to be around and work with both on and off stage. I never thought I would be singing at Victoria Concert Theatre at any point in my life and I'm really thankful that I was given this chance.

My first ever conference: in a sea of IP professionals, with my wonderful sister. We must have spoken more to each other in March/April than the rest of our lives. I am always in awe of her ability to connect with people and make others feel at ease around her.

My love, the light of my life, my raison d'etre. The last month of new transitions have been quite easily one of the most challenging things I've ever had to grow through. Bringing me lunch on a random weekday was a reprieve like no other. Your daily support is what keeps me going

And well, that's my face after my first day of voice teaching in more than 3 years. Taught 4 students and headed for auditions for Magic Flute. It was fantastic; the lessons, not the audition lol I hope the students learned something and had fun whilst doing it. I'm so glad that I have this opportunity and I learned so much from them.

Lastly, I'm so hyped for my new recording set up. Thank you Kenneth sir for the prompt and excellent recommendations as always.

These two months have had alot, alot of very difficult moments. So I'm glad to have moments like these that remind me of what I'm fighting for. by @jermynation
