A very special thank you to @isawkwardguy for taking time out of his incredibly busy schedule to put together such a heartwarming and thoughtful video for @jermynation ❤️

For someone who is usually busy roasting people in many different languages, you somehow managed to leave us feeling incredibly touched and eternally grateful 🥹 Of course, not without getting a little roast in and putting Jermyn’s love for languages and words to good use!

Beyond the humour and incredible linguistic talent, is the kindness behind this gesture. You didn’t have to do this, but you did, and it means more to us than you know. During some of the toughest moments of Jermyn’s life, when he was enduring nights filled with pain, comedic videos like yours became an unexpected source of comfort. There were countless nights when he would lie awake watching your videos, laughing to himself, and for those few precious moments, forgetting the pain he was in.

I had written to you simply to thank you for being that little ray of light during a very dark chapter of his life. You probably never thought it as a difference you were making, but sometimes, making someone laugh is so much more than just making them laugh. Sometimes, it’s helping them get through another difficult night.

And so, to have you go a step further and make this video especially for him, despite your busy schedule, is a kindness we will never forget.

It might be a small act of kindness to you but it leaves us a lifetime’s memory. We promise to pay this kindness forward and hopefully bring the same joy to someone else’s life that you’ve brought to ours.

Thank you once again for being so generous with your time, humour and heart. We’re so grateful! ❤️🥹

Henna party with the closest and dearest. Appreciate @glimpseofus.sg embracing our kukuness. She couldn’t make sense of how my henna artist and I were speaking, roasting each other, before she found out we were friends hahahaha! No other person was doing my henna other than my dearest @ellyelleanora Everyone loved her red henna!

The Opera People commemorate the 50th anniversary of the passing of composer Benjamin Britten with The Britten Project, a series of concerts that explore themes in Britten’s work alongside contemporary voices and new commissions.
•
In this second edition, Folksongs, we turn the lens to Britten’s arrangements of British and French folk songs as a starting point. For Britten, these arrangements were not merely an exercise in reimagining traditional material with a contemporary voice. Rather, they became a means of searching for a lost simplicity of childhood, and for a world irrevocably changed by two world wars; yet one that might still find a way forward through bodies that hold loss and grief, but also hope and joy.
In this programme, we explore folk song arrangements by Britten, Nico Muhly, Kareem Roustom, Chen Zhangyi, Syafiqah Ada’Salehin alongside newly commissioned works by Tan Yuting and Safuan Johari.
•
Performed by Azura Farid, Cindy Honanta, Jermyn Leong, Kezia Robson, Sim Weiying, Felicia Teo, David Charles Tay and Glenn Wong accompanied by Jonathan Shin.

Immortalising the years I have with @seven.com.sg . My forever puppy loves three things in this world: us, food, and us when we’re holding food. Grateful I found myself a Jermyn who loves my puppy just as unhinged.

Grateful every day that I found you in this lifetime. Marrying you is going to be the best thing I ever do; A close second being the fact that you get to marry me ya. 🧿 #neededareasontopostthispicbecauseilikeitverymuch

🧿The way some of you gently reminded me I forgot to tag @jermynation in my last post or blatantly asked me if the wedding was still on lol! Defo didn’t forget him; Was saving the best for a dedicated post!

Took my favourite person to my favourite place and somehow he still made me feel like his favourite view 🌸 Korea has always been my happy place but watching you experience it with me made it 10x better. My favouritest trip to Seoul yet.

10/10 travel companion, 11/10 hype man, 12/10 appetite. Would absolutely bring you everywhere with me again.🧿
