Proxy of Control explores the invisible social systems that quietly shape behavior in public space.
Developed through references to Susan Sontag’s Illness as Metaphor, the logic of incognito mode, and the setting of priority seating, the work examines how morality, visibility, and social expectation can turn an ordinary seat into a site of judgment, self-surveillance, and silent pressure.
Rather than offering a simple moral conclusion, the work asks how public ethics can become a form of control, and how bodies in shared space are not only read and assessed, but also trained to anticipate the gaze, internalize it, and, in attempting to evade it, gradually become part of its operation.

《Proxy of Control》

TRANCE
A mixture of AV Live and a walking simulator.

As you move through the digital carnival, every sound, motion, and light shift pushes at your limits. Like ricocheting shrapnel, the sensations pierce through numbness. This space rewires your senses.

Attention shatters, then clicks back into place. Your body stays put, while the sensory pull drags you inward. The edge of “self” starts to blur.
