@jeronimovargas on a legendary ride at back door with @koasmith Jeronimo is @northshoresurfshop team rider, employee and amazing surf instructor! He is one of the most genuine guys you will ever meet! I’ve known him for over 20 years. I remember traving the world back in the day in the WQS when we met! He relocated to the north shore where he’s been living the last decade! He is the type of guy who lets his surfing do the talking. He’s very humble in and out of the water not many people can say that! Stoked to have him as a friend and it’s a honor to have him part of the Ohana riding and working @northshoresurfshop at sharks cove! @shauntomson @markrichardssurfboards what you guys think? Reminds me of you guys in the 70s

Part 2 . 2013 One morning at puerto Escondido in between contests . Warm water , great people , amazing food , no leash and a 6.0 squash tail . Love this place 🙏🏾 🇲🇽

3 days in Salina Cruz 🇲🇽 and 1 in puerto ( will post later ) with at the time teenagers @yagodora and @silveiralvcas in 2013 . On that trip I could see that Yago would be way more than an air guy and Lucas would be way more than one of the best surfers in big waves . It was the first time I felt surfing good since my right ankle ligaments rupture in feb 2012 . Good vibes , good friends and good waves in between wqs events in Mexico . Forever thankful to @leandrodora071170 🎥 for letting me go in the trip with his crew . More than the stickers on the board I miss having at least 1 good ankle ( ruptured the left ankle in 2014 ) and no cervical hernia , can’t even think about trying to surf like this nowadays 😂🙏🏾

3 dias em salina Cruz em 2013 e um em puerto ( vou postar depois ) com os então adolescentes @yagodora e @silveiralvcas . Nessa viagem vi que o Yago seria muito mais que um aerealista e o Lucas seria muito mais do que um dos melhores surfistas de onda grande do mundo . Foi a primeira vez que estava me sentindo surfando bem desde que tinha rompido os ligamentos do tornozelo direito . Vibe boa , onda boa e bons amigos . Eternamente grato pelo convite de viajar com vocês @leandrodora071170 🎥
Mais que saudade dos adesivos na prancha é a saudade de ter pelo menos 1 tornozelos bons (rompi o esquerdo em 2014 ) e sem hérnia cervical 😂 . Não consigo imaginar tentar surfar assim hoje em dia 😂 by @jeronimovargas

Saquarema 2010 em uma etapa que fiquei em 5o do wqs , era 6 estrelas ou prime , algumas ondas das oitavas e quartas . Eu amo a onda de Itaúna , balança sim mas é muito maneiro quando se usa o balanço a seu favor .
Saquarema throwback from 2010 , got 5th on this 6 star qs( or prime ) . Some waves from round of 16 and quarters . I love that wave , yeah it bumps but is rewarding when you use it in your favor
