2025 selfie look book along with a year recap of reflections:

1.) absolutely failed at smiling in my selfies this year, it was literally number 1 on my list from last year lol.
2.) centering around connection and letting go of attachments to things, expectations, outcomes is how I want to shape my 2026.
3.) engage in curiosity towards the things you don’t yet understand, the emotions that take a moment to empathize with.
4.) what you choose to accept for yourself requires the sanctity of your own belief.
5.) authenticity is what clarifies the most convoluted emotions. Continue to exist as and express your most authentic self.
6.) smile more fr jeez

2024 reflections:

1.) You’ve intentionally explored love the entire year and you’re still learning much about it, good shit Jare.
2.) What an extraordinarily mundane year it’s been! Much change, progress towards a future you’re creating for yourself, nonetheless another year that flew by way too fast for ya to process.
3.) Smile more in your selfies next year. Keep learning intentionally and actively practice your kindness towards humanity.

Some reflections to start off this new year:

-2023 introduced me to new battles, new skills, new emotions and I’ve been pulled in so many directions that I truly am entering this new year a bit discombobulated.
-I’ve accepted that as tiring as life is, the easiest way to limit the amount of energy you use is to recenter as myself in all spaces. Take my mask off and just be me :p
-Choose to just be peaceful. There truly will be no peace in this lifetime, so always just choose what gets you closest to that.
-Your demons will always be there to convince you to believe something about yourself that is not true,, find who, what or where helps you reground yourself.
-Listen to understand what your physical body needs. Sleeping at a decent time saved you this year Jared…
-2023 just felt like a year of living in Squidville and that is okay :,) find who, what, or where will help you escape Squidville at every opportunity.
-There’s a lot of power in having the privilege to rest and choosing to do nothing. It is okay to simply just exist and sit with your physical body. Living everyday in the world we live is challenging enough, you deserve the privilege to detach and live in your own world.
-Understanding love, what it represents, who has given me love, what it looks like tangibly, what it feels like in my body and what it means to give my love to others is how I’m leaving 2023 and entering 2024. Entering this year, intentionally wanting to explore love.

Anyways, here are some beautiful memories made in 2023 that represent how the love given to me and the love I gave to myself has held and protected me to the end of the year. :p (last photo is me leaving everything that needs to stay in 2023, there lol) by @jerrrd_
