Join us Mr. Cardamom (aka @nycmayor ) ! I’m standing with @brianeno @janefonda and @toritsui_ and 200+ artists on the @FossilFuelTreaty letter - calling for a #FossilFuelTreaty to overcome the climate emergency

And I’m nominating Mr. Cardamom (aka @nycmayor Zohran Mamdani) to join @mayorofldn Treaty Envoy Sadiq Kahn in supporting the treaty

NYC needs a Fossil Fuel Treaty to ensure an affordable and thriving environment for artists and all New Yorkers - so please sign on Mr. Cardamom, and add NYC to the 100s of cities from London to Los Angeles that are supporting the Treaty!

It’s backed by 18 countries, Nobel Laureates, Indigenous leaders and parliamentarians, thousands of scientists, faith leaders and civil society organizations - and over a million people worldwide.

We’re calling on everyday working artists across the world to join @massiveattackofficial @coldplay and @susansarandon by adding your voice:

Artists don’t just witness history. We help make it. Join us at fossilfueltreaty.org/artist-letter , sign on, and take action!

Please sign on at the link in my bio <3

Letterboxd is for sale. We think it’s users should be the owners, not the product. And we built the business model to make it happen. Details on our website www.letterboxd4all.com by @jes.vesconte

UPADTE: 5500+ workers stood up to block the Paramount-WB merger. Now 12 State Attorneys General are suing to block it. When we organize, we win!

We demand the courts fully block the merger.

This is a victory in our fight to defend artistic freedom, press freedom, economic justice and democracy.

We’re fighting to protect audiences from higher prices, fewer voices and fewer choices, and defend workers from job cuts.

Billionaires and authoritarians can’t be allowed to buy away our rights. We will #BlockTheMerger ! by @jes.vesconte

Fire breaks out at the UN Climate Conference (#COP30), unfortunately it’s tragically poetic. Words by me in The @Guardian
