Nyla,A year ago, your mom and I met a version of ourselves we had never known before. We became your parents. And if we’re being honest, we had no idea what we were doing.There were sleepless nights, early mornings, moments where we questioned ourselves, and moments where we felt completely overwhelmed. But through it all, we stayed beside each other.Little by little, we learned your cries, discovered what made you smile, and found our way through this new life together. Somewhere between the bottles, diapers, cuddles, and countless memories, you changed us.You taught me patience. You taught your mom strength. And you showed us a kind of love we never knew existed. This truly felt like a full circle moment for me. Huge thank you to @brycekoebel for capturing this moment at @idl.global.Do I ever feel FOMO watching @brotherhoodcrew_ on stage? Of course. I grew up living and breathing Brotherhood. At one point, being a member wasn’t just something I did it was a huge part of my identity.But this opportunity with @idl.global reminded me that even though my role has changed, I’m still connected to the thing I love most. Being able to combine my passion for storytelling and filmmaking with dance made me feel like I was part of the crew again. Watching everything come to life felt surreal.Even though I don’t dance as much as I’d like to anymore, dance will always be my first love.To all of you at @brotherhoodcrew_ thank you for continuing to inspire us and make our dreams feel possible. Being able to witness this from a different perspective, while still feeling so connected to it all, truly meant everything to me. by @jeskoguiang
