Our sacred Papa the Bengal cat passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, surrounded by his mom and dad and sister Isa, listening to Long Time Sun. Sent off with abundant love and gratitude back to Source, the universe. Our hearts are aching for him now. When I first met Papa the Bengal back in 2019, he was boundariless and interactive, walking up to my face at 2am and meowing at normal volume (which is loud). Julio and I were newly dating and I thought - I don’t know if I can do this. He was a lot of cat. 12 years old, and a lot of cat. I’d never met a cat like him before. But then, he grew on me. And pretty much overnight, I became his mother. When Julio was sick with Covid in March 2020, Papa was there by his side, and mostly mine. He loved flesh-and-fur - our time as a family hanging on the couch, watching movies and TV. If there was an available lap, he was on it. He loved mama’s lap. He loved parties with our friends and fam. And he loved our cross country road trip. He patiently sat with me during IVF, soothing me after my shots. He patiently loved me during my pregnancy, sitting gently next to me. He was steadfast while I labored at home for 12 hours. He welcomed baby home when she arrived March 14th. And he sat with me and baby as often as he could, just wanting to be close. He was a true teacher - of loyalty, of unconditional love, of patience, of protection. He taught me that, when you think you’re all loved out, there’s more to give and there’s more to receive. His voice is remembered by all who knew him. He meowed often, everyday, all day usually. He seemed like more than a cat. A person in a Bengal’s body. A familiar. A soulmate. A truly one of a kind bub. I fear I’ll never know this kind of precious being again, and I also take solice in that. He can be that sacred, unique furry chapter of our lives, and that can be enough and true. To love so deeply is to feel this deep, aching pain now. Thank you Papa for teaching me of unconditional love. You’re forever our bub. ❤️ by @jess.lipman
Happy first Father’s Day to my gooshie. He’s patient, loving, honoring of our Isa Rae. He sings her songs, plays the flute for her, plays the Rav drum for her, takes her on walks, plays Prince for her during diaper time, and gives her endless love and delight. I’m grateful to do this chapter of life with you, my Goosh. We can’t wait for family adventures this season and beyond. You’re the best dad ❤️❤️🕊️🕊️ Love you 🙏🏼 by @jess.lipman
We welcomed our Isa Rae on March 14. 36 hours of labor, facing the mystery and sacred magnificence of birth and my body and this whole initiation into parenthood and motherhood. 🕊️🌺🐣 Our Pie Day Pisces 🐠 🥧 Grateful is an understatement. She is our miracle and we are in awe everyday at her beingness, the way she grows, the privilege to be her parents. 🕊️ This Mother’s Day, I honor into what it means to mother, and send love to all the mamas in my life and those I don’t know personally. What an incredible honor it is to mother. I honor into the true journey it was to meet Isa Rae. My journey began in 2023 with my surgery to repair my septate uterus, followed by lots of hours with my naturopath, spiritual mentor, acupuncturist, and rounding the corner with IVF and our OB team. Miracle. Some highlights these last 8 weeks include 🌺 Breastfeeding is so rad! I love bonding with her in this way. 🌺 Seeing Julio be Dad, and soaking into the joy and gratitude to have our lil family together. He’s tending to me, baby, our home with such love, devotion and care. I’m so lucky. 🌺 Feeling so supported by our family and friends. I’ve felt so much ease because of their / your tending. All the great food, baby gear, visits, check-ins, laundry, the list goes on… Thank you!!! 🌺 Morning photos, the 3 of us rising together. And the delight we have for each other. 🌺 Isa carries such light and love ; our people are filled with her love when they meet her. She offers this gift of heart opening. 🌺 the complex tenderness and love I feel for her (especially in the first 2 weeks postpartum). 🌺 Singing. I sing to her all day long, and I’m sharing with her the songs I loved as an 80s and early 90s kid - Raffi. Pippi Longstocking. Homeward Bound. Kirtan. 🌺 Sharing the good news with all who helped us on our path of fertility. The celebration is shared with so many people who helped us. More to come! Grateful on my first Mother’s Day 🕊️❤️👏🏼 by @jess.lipman
🍃We have news (that we haven’t shared here yet)! We’re having a baby! March 2026 🍃❤️ 🙏🏼I’ve been mostly offline these last 9 months (and this is why!) I’ve been in creation mode of this kind. I’m so grateful for this whole journey. For the support and love we’ve received every step of the way. For the not one but 🌺two🌺 baby showers we enjoyed with our loved ones. For the celebration we’ve leaned into. For this miracle. For IVF. For our encouraging care team. For the empowering voices, examples, birth stories, and visions surrounding us. ☀️For me, pregnancy is and has been this visceral initiation into a new chapter of being. Unexpected things along the way. Lots of rest. Slowing down and readying. Feeling change emerge. Meeting myself, meeting the moment, each step of the way. I think that’s the beauty of it all: seeing what it means to love and lean in to each thing that comes up. I’ve been holding the mystery of birth with grace. The word surrender is here with me. Trusting my body, trusting flow. Holding the vision in the light. Cultivating my intentions internally, and then letting it self-organize as it all will. Thank you for celebrating with us! 🥰 by @jess.lipman
My Valentine. ❤️ I’m the luckiest that I get to do life with this man. Really grateful for the chapter we are in, and all the chapters that came before. Love you, BB goosh! by @jess.lipman
Please remember: the human experience necessitates the work YOU do in the world. The way you hold space, the way you help someone see themselves in a new light, the way you help them process the hardest moment of their lives, the way you guide them into healing when they're utterly lost.... Impermanence is a theme that we humans experience, and face head on, throughout our lives. Healing arts professionals help us steward that process when it arises. Thank goddess for that. THANK YOU for holding space for others with such care. Thank you for putting yourself out there so that someone can find you RIGHT at the moment they were seeking your magic. We are walking each other home. ✨ If this resonates, I invite you to explore mindfulness and business and your authentic exploration. I'm here for that. Your expansion, your becoming, your unraveling, your creation. 👉🏼 I offer 1.1 Mindfulness Coaching Sessions, supporting you with uncovering your clarity and crafting a mindfulness meditation and daily life practice that bolsters your manifestations, your vision, and your resilience no matter life's season. 👉🏼 I offer Mindful Impact Coaching to healing arts professionals, therapists and meditation teachers + coaches. This is your space to compassionately expand into a new level of impact, revenue and service, and is ideal for those who want to focus on branding, diversifying your product suite, addressing your pricing and packaging, defining HOW you serve, and setting up systems for greater flow. I'm not the cookie cutter 'Make millions and push beyond your limits' coach. I'll help you align your business with YOUR vision, your values, your North Star, so that you can authentically and sustainably support others while being nourished and prosperous yourself. Link in bio to explore. What frequency do you carry in your healing arts or mindfulness business, and particularly within the domain of email marketing? The beliefs, the energy, the somatic imprint you hold within - it can be felt by the people around you. (Fortunately, this is something we can shift, alchemize and cultivate - with clarity and acceptance!) 🌕 Is there an openness and curiosity? Receivership, trusting, resting into your strategies and systems? A desire to connect authentically, to be of service, to be helpful? 🌕 Accompanying beliefs running under the surface: “I am open to a new way.” “Through email, the frequency of my heart’s voice speaks.” “I am curious: What will emerge when I hope to this new channel of communication, guided by my heart? Who will flow into my programs? Who will attend my workshops? What will work out in my vision’s favor?” “I wonder who will read my emails and be inspired, moved, and feel seen?” “Email marketing is pushy, so I avoid it.” 🌕 Or, Is there aversion and density? A ‘not wanting’ sensation toward email marketing, a craving for things to be different, a resentment toward the process, a confusion or haziness that sits like a cloud on everything you put out there? An emotional distance in your writing? Dare I ask: Is ChatGPT writing all your social content and emails these days, leaving you a bit removed from what you’re even saying to your prospects and community? (No shame, but worth looking at). 🌕 Accompanying beliefs running under the surface: “What I don’t know, I avoid.” “I am blocked.” “I am a nuisance if I send emails to my community. What if they’re annoyed with me? 👉 Join me in my workshop Wednesday, October 15th @ 9am PT / 12pm ET (just a few hours away) for a total email marketing RESET.
