Just absolutely grateful that I get to spend every single day with these cuties 🫶 Some moments I feel like I’m going crazy, but they are so great at giving me hugs and saying “I love you” at just the right times to help me remember that it’s a privilege that I get to be with them. Halfway there!🤰Last night I was holding Charlotte like a little baby & singing her Jesus Loves Me, just like I did when she was tiny. Looking into her eyes last night felt the exact same as looking into her little newborn eyes. She was looking at me just like she did when she was born. And I started to tear up 😭 She’s growing SO beautifully inside & out and I love love love the little girl that she is!

Can’t believe she’s the one that made me a mama & now she gets to be a big sister to two little brothers 🫶 Thank you, Jesus, for our sweet little blessings every single day. by @jessbuhs

Sometimes a 5 min walk to the park turns into walking back to the house to go potty right away, then going back to the park to play more but realizing someone else has to go potty, so just going back to the house instead 🤣

Never been more go-with-the-flow than I am right now in life. Plans don’t always go the way I picture them & it’s taken me MANY years to realize that it’s not a big deal.

Love how life feels a little easier with friends too 🫶 We played, we ate, we jumped, we cried, we screamed, we made a mess, we cleaned it up, we got dirty, we hugged, we danced, we sang.. and it was all so much easier with a sweet friend! I feel like I haven’t felt this relaxed in YEARS 🌴☀️🌊

But the first night we got to our place, I sat in the sand with raindrops sprinkling down, crying because I was missing our sweet babies so much. I knew they were having the best time with their grandma & grandpa + nana & papa, but you know when all you want is 5 minutes of quiet to yourself and then after you get it you kind of miss the chaos? That’s how I was feeling.

I promised Zach that I would try to just relax & enjoy being there with just him and actually soaking in the moments of just us. For the first day it was just an INCREDIBLY weird feeling of having no responsibilities. I literally did not know how to just sit still and not think about my day to day responsibilities of mom life 🤣

So many times throughout the trip, we just were thinking of how much Charlotte and Beckham would LOVE the things we were doing. But after a while, instead of wishing that we brought them.. we realized that now we know all the great spots we’ll take them to next time we get the opportunity!

Spending one on one time with Zach was sooooo needed, so relaxing, so fun. Floating weightless on top of the perfectly crystal clear water that was the most delightful temperature, having uninterrupted conversations, reading the Bible together on the beach. I couldn’t stop saying how absolutely perfect and relaxing it was! So grateful for a husband who understands my heart and my mind.
