It was a pleasure playing Joaquín Rodrigo’s “Concierto de Aranjuez” with @raphaelfguitar @leccechong and @srsymphony this past weekend at the @greenmusiccenter 🥰

Thanks, sneaky balcony videographer 🤩♥️👏

This clip is from the opening of the Concierto’s 2nd movement where the English horn trades off with the solo guitar, languidly spinning one of my all time favorite melodies. I love using these solos as a warm up - both for E. horn and voice 🤭🥰♥️

Thanks to maestro Francesco Lecce-Chong, guitarist Raphaël Feuillâtre, and the Santa Rosa Symphony. This is my 10th season making music at the Green Music Center.
🥹

Our program also included the full ballet music from Manuel de Falla’s “El sombrero de tres picos [The Three-Cornered Hat]” which featured the vocal stylings and flare of mezzo-soprano @leah.finn 👏💃🏻🇪🇸 and one of the most badass English horn cadenzas to boot 🪩

Poulenc - Sonata for Oboe & Piano (mvt. 1)

Poulenc - “Malvina” (Le bal masqué)

Copland - Quiet City

Haydn - The Seasons (Spring, mvt. 1)

Mozart - Oboe Quartet (mvt. 1)

“Misty” - Erroll Garner

Coragliano - The Food of Love

“Ten Cents A Dance” - Rodgers & Hart

“A Sleepin’ Bee” - Harold Arlen & Truman Capote

Weill - “Beat! Beat! Drums!” (Four Whitman Songs)

Season opening gala at @metopera … this year, from the other side of the curtain!

An important night for our industry to show what we can offer the world. The singing carried the night, as it should, and we couldn’t have enjoyed it with a better crew. 🥂

Grateful for singular New York nights like these!! Thanks for including us @simondyates & @kevinroon 🩵 taken in The Metropolitan Opera by @jesserexbarrett

🍯 HONEYMOON 🌝

A very belated honeymoon, that is… but SO fun to relive the newlywed vibes in Tulum, seven months after the big day!

@conradtulumrivieramaya was pristine and giving major White Lotus vibes. We couldn’t have had a better time, wasting away in the Caribbean sun for a week.

Did anything happen while we were gone??

TAKE US BACK!

(And yes, we DID spend every morning and sunset at the hidden, secret swings outside our room 🌴) taken in Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya by @jesserexbarrett

Married the man of my dreams and moved from San Francisco to New York together. There was lots of music in there too, but this was the important stuff.

NYC debut… at LINCOLN CENTER?!?
😱🤯🥹

Actual dreams coming true walking into day 1 of rehearsals at Lincoln Center, prepared to both play oboe and sing in the cast of a new production of AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS… directed by Tony-winner Kenny Leon and starring opera superstar Joyce DiDonato.
🤩👑😍

Thanks, Sean Peter Forte for texting me that morning in New York months ago, and helping those lovely folks find a “(musician first)…solid singer but also plays the oboe well” - Lol.🤭🤗😱 @seanpeterforte 🥰
