What a crazy adventure.

@schnalstalalpinetrail by @saltytrailrunning 52 km, 4,600 m of elevation, with 95% of the course above 2,000 m. Definitely the toughest race I’ve done so far.

Big thanks to @klub.run.agency for the invite and @hng.nguyen for making this trip even more memorable. Driving 10+ hours, setting up our tents, cooking pasta, climbing endlessly in the heat, and taking shelter from thunderstorms and rain…

Unfortunately, my race ended at 30 km. Not the distance I was aiming for, but sometimes listening to your body is the right call.

No regrets. Just a good lesson, tired legs, new memories, and a full SD card.

See you next year, Schnalstal.

Besides spending time on the beach and enjoying a few Ichnusas during my vacation, I always feel the urge to find new trail routes. This time, a part of the Selvaggio Blu. Technical terrain, a decent amount of elevation, and stunning views all along the way.

Ps: Proud to announce that I am officially part of DOXA Circle Runners. Huge thanks to @doxarun and @anotherperspectiveagency for the opportunity.

The journey continues. 🏔️✨

Koh Tan Eco Trail

Not your average trail race.

Being transported by boat to the starting line. Running a 20 km loop around Koh Tan, an island with no roads, just a few houses and lots of lush greenery.

Maybe I underestimated this race. Starting at 6 a.m. with temperatures already above 30°C and humidity at 85–90% was no joke.

The route was also pretty technical, with some short climbs at 45% and sections where I had to run through dense bushes while keeping an eye on my feet to avoid twisting an ankle, watching my head to avoid getting smashed by a tree, and making sure I didn’t miss any course markers.

The Koh Tan Eco Trail is something different.
Definitely one of the best race experiences I’ve ever had!

Finished 24th overall and 8th in my age category.

Hats off to the organizers for putting together such a well-prepared and well-organized race.
