WHAT AN ADVENTURE!

SAT SKY ULTRA — 51 kilometers and 4,500m of elevation gain. Steep climbs, long descents, technical alpine terrain and high altitude. A course that demanded respect from start to finish.

More than anything, I’m leaving this race with an enormous feeling of gratitude.

Gratitude for my body. No cramps. No stomach issues. No mental lows. My body stayed strong all the way to the finish.

@schnalstalalpinetrail was an incredible experience — beautifully organised and set in one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever had the privilege to run.

And this trip was about much more than the race. Sharing the adventure with @jessewolff_ , camping close to nature, cooking our own food, morning coffee and those mountain views. Back to basics.

Thank you @klub.run.agency for the invitation, @saltytrailrunning for the incredible experience, @victus.sport for the fuel and @magnimore for the recovery and endless support.

This one will stay with me.

What a crazy adventure.

@schnalstalalpinetrail by @saltytrailrunning 52 km, 4,600 m of elevation, with 95% of the course above 2,000 m. Definitely the toughest race I’ve done so far.

Big thanks to @klub.run.agency for the invite and @hng.nguyen for making this trip even more memorable. Driving 10+ hours, setting up our tents, cooking pasta, climbing endlessly in the heat, and taking shelter from thunderstorms and rain…

Unfortunately, my race ended at 30 km. Not the distance I was aiming for, but sometimes listening to your body is the right call.

No regrets. Just a good lesson, tired legs, new memories, and a full SD card.

See you next year, Schnalstal.
