In my career I feel most accomplished when I find a level of trust with my client where they believe in the vision before either of us has fully seen it. They trust that I will take the time to make it the best I can and not any less or any longer. They point me in a direction and then leave the rest to me. It brings out a drive in me to live up to that trust and prove them right in their confidence and at the end I feel thankful to them for giving me a space where I can see the best in myself too. So grateful for every time I have gotten to feel that feeling. 🙏🏻🩷 taken in Sacramento, California by @jessoxoxo

Honestly can’t tell which is the bigger accomplishment, the drawing or the pencil nub? This is my submission for the hanged man tarot. Hopefully in like a year (based on how long these things take me) I’ll actually have a full deck..

I got to do an entire arm of Mucha girls. This is the inner arm but I’ll post each girls and how the sleeve works together soon.
I would say that my life is complete but I think I might get to do even more Mucha girls in my life and if anything I’m more excited for it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Cute little half portrait so this momma can see her little girl peeking out at her all day. Usually if the whole face is available in the picture I would want to get all of it in there but I thought she had a cute idea here so I put all the detail I could into the parts I had to work with and I’m happy with the way it turned out. Next time it will be her son on the other arm 😊✨🌸

This was his first tattoo, in honor of a friend that passed and their favorite activity together. A really positive and happy memorial celebrating a life well lived. Glad I could be a part of it.

Sweet lil grandma memorial, right in season for picking a perfect basket in her honor just like they used to together.

I love to do memorials like this that bring the best memories to mind with the people you love. That way the joy of the person stays in the forefront instead of the sadness of the loss. I believe the person being remembered would want you to feel happy when you think of them. And I’m always honored when people let me help with that process. 💜🌞🌸

I’m so honored to be a part of this exhibit. This is my first time taking part in a museum show and I love the idea that I am woven in to the history of women tattooers in Sacramento. This year in October will be 20 years tattooing for me (18-19 here in sac), so my participation in this showing has given me some time to look back on how far we’ve come as a tattoo industry, as tattooed people and non-tattooed people’s understanding of us, and the place we are right now is something I never imagined coming in to this life. The good definitely outweighs the bad so far and I’m still excited for the future. taken in Sacramento History Museum by @jessoxoxo

I love tattooing thighs..
It never gets faded from the sun. It’s smooth and readable. Thighs are a good size, so you have space to get detailed. It doesn’t hurt my back to work on…

Thanks for giving me both of yours Sarah. 🫶🏻 by @jessoxoxo
