What an incredible week it has been watching Avery represent Team Nova Scotia at Nationals!

For his first year, we couldn’t be more proud of the way he stepped up, competed, learned, and embraced every moment. He was fortunate to be part of an amazing group of teammates who supported each another on and off the floor, and the coaching staff created such a positive, encouraging, and competitive environment for the kids to grow.

Seeing him wear the Team NS jersey and represent Nova Scotia alongside such an incredible team has been something we will never forget. We are beyond proud of our guy, not just for what he accomplished on the floor, but for the teammate, competitor, and person he continues to be.

His first Nationals experience has been truly special, and we can’t wait to see where the medicine game takes him next.

This one is the hardest yet. My baby is 11. The one who made me a mama, the one who grew up with me- seen me mess up and keep going. He makes me SO proud to be his mama every single day. I’m so incredibly proud of who you are and what you’ve accomplished in your 11 year in this crazy world. You will always be my baby, no matter how old you get. So incredibly proud of our boy for making the provincial team! 🥍

This didn’t happen by chance, it’s the result of so much heart, hard work, and dedication. Early mornings, long practices, pushing through tough days, and never giving up… it’s all paying off.

Watching you grow not just as an athlete, but as a teammate and a person, has been amazing. You’ve earned every bit of this and we couldn’t be prouder.

Appreciation post for my babies ✨

This has been the hardest phase of my adult life, but these sweet faces keep me going. Even if this was the only moment they weren’t fighting today. They have handled our move with ease- starting a new school & leaving the house we brought them all home to.

7 YEARS 🎂

I have no idea how we got here, but our boy is 7. You love SO big. You’re the sweetest and more kind hearted kid in the entire world. I love watching you grow, and fall in love with the world around you- especially hockey.

This year has tested us in every way imaginable. Pushed us to our breaking points. But the incredible memories we made throughout the year, easily outweigh the negative.

One more major thing to check off our to-do list so we can enjoy 2026, but going into it living in our forever home makes it a little bit sweeter 🏡

Lacrosse is the real MVP tho. Grateful everyday for the incredible people this sport has brought into our lives & the amazing opportunities it has brought. 🥍 The medicine game, is truly that for our family- medicine.

🍕 Vero Pizzeria Pizza Kit Fundraiser!!! 🍕

Avery is selling Vero Pizzeria pizza kits to help fund his trip to New York from December 18-22 for the Border Wars Tournament with BlacksLax!

All the money he earns from selling the Pizza kits will cover his tournament fees, travel expenses, and other costs.

Orders need to be in by December 4th and will be delivered December 11.
