Improving every week 🙌 You’ll never catch Grey and Avery without a stick in their hands, and the improvement is obvious day in and day out.

Plus, Robbie is an absolute brick wall 🧱

And just like that… Nationals are over. 😮‍💨

I don’t think the emotions have fully caught up with me yet. I’m exhausted, my heart is full, and I can’t believe the week we waited so long for has already come and gone.

Watching Greyson step onto that floor and represent Nova Scotia at his first Nationals is something I’ll never forget. I am so incredibly proud of him and this entire team.

It may not have ended the way we hoped on paper, but wins and losses don’t tell the whole story. These boys played HARD. They went up against some incredibly talented, heavy-hitting teams and showed they belonged on that floor. Through every win, loss and tough moment, they held their heads high .. AS THEY SHOULD. 🔥

To our coaches, thank you for the countless hours, patience and commitment you poured into these kids. To our management team, thank you for organizing every little piece of an incredibly busy week and everything leading up to it. To our parents and families, you cheered loud and fierce and supported every kid like they were your own.

And to our players .. what a group. They came together, stood together, picked each other up and became a true team. ❤️

Seeing Greys wear NS across his chest and step on the floor hit this mama harder than I expected. Proud doesn’t even begin to explain what I’m feeling. 🥹

It didn’t go exactly how we pictured it, but it went exceptionally well. The memories, lessons, friendships and experiences from this week will last far beyond the final buzzer.

Maybe it went exactly how it was meant to. 💛💙

This one makes me emotional. 🧡🪶

I am so incredibly proud of Greyson and Avery for stepping up this morning and leading their team through a smudge and prayer before their game against BC.

These two carry their culture close, especially when it comes to this game. Watching them represent who they are with pride, respect and honour is something I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put fully into words. My heart is very full today.

A huge thank you to Coach Zak for making space for this and encouraging our boys to bring their culture to the team. That kind of support is so important to our people, and it means more than he probably realizes.

And to our teammates and friends.. thank you for coming together with curiosity, openness and respect. For listening, participating and allowing these 2 to share something so meaningful. We really do have such a great group of kids, and moments like this are a beautiful reminder of that. 💙

Today was about so much more than lacrosse. It was culture, connection, respect and pride while playing The Creator’s Game.

So incredibly proud of these boys and this team. 🪶🥍💙💛🧡
