CONSUMPTION
“How We Let These Motherfuxkers Feed Us”

Every generation consumes. The question is what we consume—and what it quietly consumes in return.

This exhibition examines consumption beyond food or material goods. It asks us to consider everything we allow into our bodies, minds, and spirits: knowledge, memories, trauma, joy, media, relationships, culture, and expectation. Every experience leaves a residue. Some things sustain us. Others slowly reshape us.

Because in the end, we are not defined solely by what we create.

We are also shaped by everything we consume.

Just Added: ‘Different Flowers Same Garden‘ by Cypher (b.1987 USA) a self-taught visual artist and emcee from New Orleans. The work demonstrates a bond that is passed down through generations and emphasizes collective survival, empowerment, and emotional support through both triumphs and challenges. It is seen as an unbreakable, life-sustaining force that offers comfort and a sense of belonging, and is reinforced through shared history, identity, and a deep sense of community. a powerful and resilient connection based on shared heritage, culture, and experiences, providing mutual support, strength, and understanding. - The Garden
