BLACK OILER Album + bonus track now on CD 📀

Pay what you want system, meaning $1, $10, or $20 etc. If you want a copy I wanna figure out how to get it in your hands! As that means everything. So you decide what you can do financially, while leveraging what you think its worth.

feels like I'm finally tying a loose end on this project. I've said it plenty but thank you to friends, family and collaborators who shared so much love with me during/post this project, and ultimately made this possible.

Keeping the background story short, due to capitalism and streaming services not being great for compensating/taking care of artists, I was inspired to put Black Oiler on CD.

That said you may not immediately notice but streaming often isn’t great for the quality of a record, at times diminishing what the artist you care about may have intended for you to hear. CDs and Vinyl allow you to own and hear the original track at your comfort, with touch and warmth.

So while Black Oiler won’t be on Spotify any more (thank you for the 55k streams)

I hope you consider getting your slice of this album

HMU to get yours!

with love big enough to fill the room

Consider this a digital postcard
Letting it live in this archive

So proud of the work ya’ll weaved together to cross the stage or make it into the next day. Special, to be involved in ya’ll’s lives. Thank you for the front row tickets.

I’ve seen ya’ll navigate many challenges within the books, sentences, family, environment, life, that without, or waking up and feeling good in the skin you move through.

Let people love you for who you are. Continue being open to the challenges, as well as the opportunities for growth that can come in the form of questions, tears, fears and whatever else might lie between these lines. As you continue to shift, stay curious to what this means for you, and why you want to commit to that wave.

Experiencing relationship tides shift, those moments gave way to growth for me. I’ve had to reframe my love for my people, and how I can show up for them. With that I’m still learning; missteps; trials; and moments of breakthrough which can feel fleeting.

Take it a day at a time. Reflect, and go at your pace. by @jeszack
