This year marks the 40th anniversary of the JET Programme! To celebrate, CLAIR is launching the “JET Arigato Campaign,” inviting current and former JET participants, as well as everyone involved with the JET Programme, to share messages of appreciation for the people, communities, and experiences that have made their JET journey special. Share your “ARIGATO” on social media using #ArigatoJET! Want your message to be featured at the JET Programme 40th Anniversary Reception or on CLAIR’s website and social media? Submit it through the application form for a chance to receive a 40th anniversary commemorative gift! Are you debating staying in Japan after JET? The JET Programme Internship applications are now open! The internship is a great opportunity for current JETs (in their 2nd year or over) to experience what it is like working in a Japanese company. This year, applicants have the choice to participate for 1 week in either late August or mid September. Applications have been extended to June 7th so please make sure to check out the application requirements and apply! Check out the JET Programme Internship website (link in bio) for further details. In partnership with CLAIR and the three Ministries, JETAA-I held the triennial JETAA International Meeting in Tokyo from November 13th to 16th. JETAA-I board members and Country Representatives from 20 countries gathered together to exchange information, promote collaboration and strengthen the cooperation system among JET Programme related associations. This meeting was a valuable opportunitiy to strengthen collaboration and exchange ideas on how to best support past, current and future JETs! 11月中旬の4日間、JETAAインターナショナルは、クレアおよび三省庁と協力し、東京にて3年ごとに開催される国際会議を実施しました。会議期間中、20か国の代表やJETAA-I役員が一堂に会し、情報交換や連携促進、JETプログラム関連団体間の協力体制の強化について議論しました。本会議は、現役・元および将来のJET参加者をどのように支援していくかについて重要な意見交換の機会となりました。 by @jet_programme
