POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After many moons I am excited to share that my second record ‘Midnight Motel’ will be released on August 28th. These songs have been traveling around in my suitcase for a while now and it feels good to finally be able empty the whole thing out onto the bed.

Today is a is a big one and the first line of celebration would be to stream the new single ‘Bridges’ which can be found everywhere now.

After that, you can head down the road and make your room reservation to pre-order the physical record along with our most insane bundle options yet. As always, @mtcrushmorerecords will take care of all your booking needs in the US while @gunnerrecords ‘ vacancies will open up online a little later in the week.

And last but certainly not least, please join me and the band on August 28th at @crossroadsgarwoodnj in Garwood, NJ to celebrate the grand opening of the ‘Midnight Motel’. Tickets and bundles are available at the links in the bio and the full lineup will be announced on Friday.

New on 100 Words Or Less: Jared Hart.

Jared grew up in North Jersey in a family of art teachers, which turns out to explain a lot about how he’s spent the last twenty years making records and running a label out of that same corner of the world. We talk about where he comes from, what a house full of people who teach art does to a kid with a guitar, and why Germany keeps pulling him back across the Atlantic.

Singer, songwriter, Mercy Union frontman. Out now wherever you get your podcasts. by @jhart201

A while back my friend @maxlryaz asked if I’d like to be involved in organizing a record fair in Bayonne. His vision, work ethic, and undying love for exit 14a has brought us to the inaugural edition of the @bayonnerecordfair which is THIS SATURDAY OCT. 17th. Come join us on the corner at 229 Broadway (The Bayonne Community Museum) and enjoy an afternoon of vinyl DJ’s, new and used records, art, crafts, baked goods, books, vintage clothes, and more.

I’ll have a table of @mtcrushmorerecords releases as well as a good stack from my personal collection set up right alongside some new and old friends like @14arecords , @felons201 , @moontigerceramics , @chicken_flancese , @jerseycollective , @toddophonic , @camptokar , @chainxdoe & my favorite bakery on planet earth @doublebatchbakery . It’s free so come say hi starting at 12pm. Someone let the champ know and I’m giving heavy discounts in exchange for Pizza Masters 🖤 taken in Bayonne Community Museum by @jhart201

One week of ‘Midnight Motel’ and I’m still grinning about hearing these songs with the full band for the first time. Which song are you dragging the needle to and why is it ‘Tilted’?

Thanks for listening.

Last night at midnight I sat down and listened to a record that I’ve been working on for years. I’m proud of this thing that me and my friends made together and I really can’t thank them enough for turning this big idea into a reality.

Thanks to Rob @audiopilotstudio for navigating my brain and 30+ songs for way too long.

Thanks Matt, @nickjorgs , @markmasefield , @swan_song , @benlucero74 , @karendoesthings , and @mischapearlman for lending their chops, voices, and words.

Thanks @davidapatino for taking a trip out west with your cameras to find what we were looking for.

Thanks to the amazing @chicken_flancese for taking what was in my head and creating a design and layout that went beyond anything I could’ve asked for.

Thanks @joshjurk for sitting on the phone until 3am and working out all this merch insanity with me.

Thanks to @titobelis for getting the word out there.

Thanks to @gunnerrecords for holding down the supply chain in Germany

And thanks to all of you for caring enough to encourage me to keep doing this. I hope you can find a space of your own in these rooms that we all built together.

Welcome to the Midnight Motel.

See you tonight at @crossroadsgarwoodnj
