Feels like yesterday. It seems impossible that 25 years ago I was home watching the morning shows as was 2 weeks away from Jakey being born. I still vividly remember everything about that morning, watching something so unbelievable on live TV, everyone was scrambling to fathom what was happening - where would it end. Through that devastation was unity and care for each other. That was a shining light, that in the darkest hours we could rely on each other. by @jhoman23

Alabama Shakes and Tedeschi Truck blew the roof off. Special night with my niece and nephews sharing our love of live music. And bonus running into Kim Boyer McLaughlin. As Jake said, just find the most brilliant musicians, put them on stage together and allow extended solos for all. Family vacay weather adjustment was better than could imagine. TC Food & Wine Festival seeing Aimee Desautels in her element. Closed day at Interlochen Center for the Arts summer series The Accidentals Famgrove, an indie/folk rock musical gift. Keep your eye on the The Burney Sisters, wow and beyond. by @jhoman23

Good vibes celebrating another trip around the sun. The Breakfast Club screening Cinema Paradiso Hollywood, followed by wine and bites at THE VINTAGE ON HARRISON. Beautiful service for Father Kelly honoring 70 years of dedication to advancing education, loving and caring for all, commitment to people over policy, especially St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Great eulogy by Dr. Aloma and Paul Sallarulo, laughter through the tears. I love this video/photo surrounded by students from the annual STA dinner auction that we chaired. I have been thinking about all the holiday singalongs, voicemails, hand written thank you notes, Cailini competitions, prayers, and my favorite was when he would break out in Irish songs and verses. taken in St. Thomas Aquinas High School by @jhoman23

Beautiful morning of remembrance yesterday at the ribbon-cutting for the COVID Memorial garden at Bob Butterworth Park. Artist Stephanie Cunningham created a space to reflect full of symbolism and reminders of collective experience. Thank you Marie P. Woodson, Traci L. Callari, Hollywood Commissioner District #3 and the City of Hollywood, Florida Government for this addition and Raelin Storey Lohse and team for the presentation that reminded us of our connection to each other and how working together can get us through anything. by @jhoman23

Happy Father's Day to all! Missing mine something fierce these days. Favorite photos of me and my Daddy and him with his cowboy getup. He would toss us so high into the water, loved feeling like flying but knew he would always catch me.
