🥉 3rd place and 2nd in category in my first Ultra at last Friday's Australian Alpine Ascent race. 1750m and 59kms up Australia's highest mountain in and around Kosciusko national park.

Safe to say going into this I was just a little nervous but I am absolutely stoked with the result. What a whirlwind race that was. Epic views, crazy trails, wind, rain (some sun?) and a stupid amount of leg cramps...but it really does make you realise how deep you can go and how hard you can push. Makes it easier when you're being chased... In saying that, a majority of the race was completely solo, barely seeing a soul. Another interesting challenge that I decided to throw myself into and without any music, maybe one day I'll learn.

But a huge shoutout and congratulations to @isyyyyyyy_ and @farnan.patrick for the idea to do this event, their support and for not telling me they were nervous about how much training I'd done 😅. To Issy for also smashing it with 1st female and Pat 3rd in Cat, so proud of you guys!!

Thanks to @onlinejohnny_ for the last 2 strength programs at @clublimegyms which honestly got me up and down those mountains without collapsing.

And thanks to @runpowercoach for the recent work we've done and for telling me to slow the hell down and start to understand my body and training more.

It's a solid team effort that got me there and I appreciate the amazing support and relationships that have helped me to reach those goals.

Most of all a big thanks to @lilbigrunclub for the amazing community of people that drive and encourage each other every week. You guys are genuinely the best and I love the community we've built together.

Lastly to @alyceashford for always understanding the crazy hours and silly activities that I'm getting into that means my brain is constantly scrambled even when it's time for us ❤️

So I guess the next question is what's next?!

6 years ago today I woke up in my Melbourne home for the first time

This highlight reel is by no means a comprehensive summary of that time! Only the smallest snippet, that doesn’t begin to cover how life has expanded and transformed since that day 🤍

Also 2 months ago today, I woke up on my first morning back in Sydney. See a few little snaps at the end of how life has unfolded since 🤍 by @jhtommo1

Sydney Marathon weekend 💙💛

A few of our LilBiggies took on Sydney Marathon last weekend. Some big efforts, plenty of support along the way, and we couldn’t be more proud.

Also hiding in plain sight is a little sneak peek of something we’ve been working on behind the scenes. 👀 New LilBig merch coming soon!

Good evening team! 🚨

We've been asked some great questions about our new LilBig Membership, so thought we'd do a quick 🔊 Q&A 🔊 with our Founder, Josh, to get the low down and some important info ahead of our @melbmara ticket draw at 9am tomorrow morning! 🎫

Remember anyone who signs up before then will go into win 1 of 5 tickets for the half or full marathons at @melbmara this October.

A big thank you to everyone who has supported us and in particular to our partners.

A moment to honour @globalrunningday , our @lilbigrunclub community and the people in it 🫶

Feel very lucky to be able to meet new people and explore these beautiful places by foot, leading us down new streets and finding hidden gems around Melbourne and further afar.

A selection of fun recents from runs with the crew ✌️
