Chris Watson is back, baby!!!
He was gone for 10 weeks! July 7 is when he left. September 18 he was back. He came back just in time to walk the kids to the bus stop for the first time in 9 weeks - which was their last day before Fall Break.

I had the privilege of being able to fly out to Virginia for Chris’ graduation and it was the best! It was so fun getting to meet Chris’ new besties - The Quantibros! And all their lovely wives, while drinking on-fire margaritas. I also met some of his classmates from other countries, especially his new friend from Korea! I also got to see where he has been working out, learning, growing, eating (good bye froyo machine).

The graduation itself was a fun treat as well - getting to hear from Kash Patel, the director of the FBI, and to watch Chris walk across the stage to receive his hard-earned diploma, right into the arms of Shaquille O’Neil.

It’s been an insane 10 weeks, but one of great growth, pain, and joy for all of us. Our family is whole again, and it’s so great to just Be with our favorite human. Everything is better with Chris - coffee, the gym, food. The dogs are happy. And things are getting fixed again. And I am never letting him leave ever again. 🤗 #fbinationalacademy #familytime by @jihaewatson

My 10 weeks without Chris is almost done!
Could not have done it without the many people who have prayed for us, texted me, supported me in the big and the small.
You gotta live life in community, people!
Be a good friend to have good friends.
Text your fave friends right now, or send them a hilarious reel to let them know you appreciate them, since that’s one of my preferred love languages.

I’m so thankful for all the encouragement from all my new internet stranger friends! We are all in need of more prayer, more connection, and as always - more Jesus!!

My kid who was caught lying to me, we had a good weekend. It sure helped that Chris was home! But I believe the Holy Spirit was all over the situation cause we all prayed!

67 hours with Chris.
Thankful for Labor Day weekend and Chris being home so we could drink a lot of coffee, eat a lot of food with a lot of great people, and do regular life things. Not as regular but definitely note worthy - getting ready for Christmas, getting rid of Topher’s couch 😆, watching Les Mis, and going to the gym every single morning that he was here. Everything is better with @chris_jwats 💙

1 Chronicles 21, David makes an oopsie and asks God to forgive him, as per usual. And our God is a gracious God. He is kind. But he is also just. And I just see people out here thinking they can do whatever they want, with no negative consequences. I am occasionally that foolish as well. But I have the fear of God in me. And you should too. So if you are doing something that you know is wrong - consider this your sign to STOP. Repent. Turn to the Lord. Cause he is waiting for you. And his Holy Spirit in powerful enough to help you in any and every situation.

Check out @kfarmaz for the MOST PRECIOUS MOST BEAUTIFUL LOVELY little Micro Golden Doodles. If they were goons stay this tiny, I would have bought one. But apparently they get to up to 10-20 lbs, and I already have 2 dogs, 1 hot husband, and 5 kids in this crazy house.
But if you are interested in a new dog - hit up my girl Shannon! If these puppies are anything like their mama, who was the sweeeeeeeetest and cuddliest dog, you should get one of her puppies! by @jihaewatson

August was 31 days and 58 lifetimes.
I managed to be with Chris for 40 hours out of the possible 744 for the month. Not enough.

Jess got in her first car accident. She is totally safe and uninsured, along with all the others involved. Praise Jesus!

We had our first home evacuation.
Everyone is also fine from that. Another praise Jesus!

But we also saw lots of friends, and family, and ate a lot of meals, and talked and walked, and celebrated milestones, and regular life.
In it all, I am always reminded that God is good. All the time. by @jihaewatson
