People...We all need armor-bearers. ⚔️🛡These are people who come alongside us when we are weak & offer support & encouragement. 🤝 They let us ugly cry & then compliment us. 🤪 They tell us we are more than enough where we see a lack. 🤯They aren’t afraid to tell the truth or call you on your 💩, but they will do it with love & kindness. Not only did these women give me the gift of their time & wisdom last night, but they also went above & beyond. 🥰 I hope to somehow be that kind of friend back & I hope we all seek out these types of relationships. 💕

My HEART is so full! Today I dropped in to @showit to celebrate our 2nd Annual Valentine’s Day Lunch!
(A tradition I totally made up, who would turn down pizza!?)

Since my expansion to Arizona I’ve been craving connection and needing a reason to celebrate!

Arriving with pizza pies, fresh flowers and this fun candy charcuterie board, @jihaewatson laughed and said, “Geez, girl! You must really LOVE Valentine’s Day!” 🤣😍

I mean, yes, I’m all about hearts day, but I truly love having any excuse to celebrate!!! The tech wizards and coding geniuses behind the scenes of @showit keep the heart beats of our websites alive and truly help make our wildest business dreams a reality!

The work they do to help us cope through melt downs and showcase our work beautifully should be celebrated daily!

Lucky for us, @nataliefranke was in town for the #risingtideroadtrip and was able to pop in to partyyyy, too!

It’s hard to string the right words together to communicate exactly what the story is behind this photo. For me, it’s a story that started 10 years ago when I went to a photography conference and volunteered as a door greeter. Slowly these people, these once strangers became friends. And over the years, they became coworkers. Teammates. And then they became family. I’m not exactly sure when it happened, but somewhere along the way I fell in love with all of them. It’s a rare blessing to have a group of people who take the time to know you for who you really are, the good, the bad and love you through it, no matter what. People who encourage you when you need it and even when you don’t, inspire personal growth and cheer for your marriage and wins for your family, no matter how big or how seemingly small. Who gently guide you when you’re wrong and who above all else respect you and your beliefs. Who pray for you even when you don’t ask. And love your kids from thousands of miles away. They’ve all invaded our hearts and we can’t imagine doing life without these humans who are salt of the earth and bright lights in a world that often seems so dark. So thank you, dear friends for all that you’ve become, all that you are and all you will be. Rusty and I are so honored to know each of you. @showit @chrismisterek @sarahmisterek (ran out of tags! 🙄)
