In honor of my first full day off since September, a post about the thing that kept me the busiest this fall: BESTIE ISLAND!!! 🌴📲
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Originating a role in this hilarious reality-show-themed musical was a dream come true. My comedic chops were sharpened and my Real Housewife love tank was filled.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am so grateful to this cast and crew who made my heart sing. Horray for new works and wonderful people!!!

Our wedding anniversary was this weekend on 10/10 and I was worried that I’d overdone it with the Ireland posts this summer BUT ☘️ anniversary rules means you get to share your love however you want so here we go: the final days of my dreamy trip with my dreamy husband in Ballyvaughan! 🥔🌾🐴🍻📖

Picture this: you’re doing exactly what you feel you were put on this earth to do.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On 7/14 (love that number 🤌🏼), we held a public Meisner in Music workshop for NYC-ers who hadn’t gotten to experience the magic in the room yet. I am obsessed with the singers who worked, I can’t put into words how much I admire my colleague @_adamjwhite, and I am in continuous awe by what this technique can do. Running the business side of Meisner in Music is hard but teaching it feels like the easiest thing I’ve ever done. I don’t quite know how to say this and I hope that the way I’ll try to doesn’t sound egotistical: it truly feels like I’ve had the luck of being a vessel for this work. Half the time, I don’t know where I’m going to go or what I’m going to say next to a singer and then…🌬️ something that seems to be coming from beyond me comes out and it feels like exactly what needed to be said. I feel very grateful to be the person whose shoulder this Meisner inspiration has its hand on. Teaching MiM has been the gift of a lifetime and I hope that I get to do it for a long time. 🩵
