Meet Andrea Guinyard, the newest recipient of The Hennesy Foundation Grant.

“My name is Andrea Guinyard. I am a divorced mother of two daughters, aged 20 and 28. I am also a first-time “GiGi” to my sweet 20-month-old granddaughter, who’s the star of our family.

I work full-time and am a part-time student at the University of North Texas. I love to read and spend time with family and friends in my spare time. I am a devoted Christian and have a heart for helping people in need. On Sundays, you can find me in fellowship with my church family at Trinity Church, where I’ve been a member for over 12 years.

My pastors, Pastor Jim and Becky, are very dear to me. The generous support through the Hennessy Foundation has been a huge blessing. Thanks to their help and my church family, I purchased my first home, breaking my family’s generational pattern of non-homeownership. Our lives have been forever changed, and we are truly grateful.”

The unique part of Andrea’s story: a small group at @trinity_online caught the vision of the powerful impact of home ownership. They asked to sponsor someone and connected with Andrea. Their small group of 7 people donated $10,000 to @thehennesyfoundation for Andrea. She found a new tribe of friends for life and became the first person in her family to own a home.
