POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last night at Trinity Prayer, Pastor Jim reminded us of the importance of allowing God to confront our hearts.

Sometimes, we ask God to change our circumstances while He is asking us to let Him change us. His correction is not rejection. It is an invitation to grow, surrender, and become more like Him.

May we never be so comfortable that we stop allowing God to transform us. 🤍

“We want compatibility with God, not competition with God.” A word that stays with you.

Part 2 of Pastor Jim’s Lifestyle of Trust sermon series was one to sit with. A powerful message, a good word, and a heart behind it that points us back to what it means to truly trust Him.

Don’t let your need for sight get in the way of your ability to trust God. You don’t need to know the whole plan when you know the One who holds it.

Sometimes, we can become so consumed with the details, searching for answers and trying to figure out what’s next, that we miss the very moment God is inviting us into. Trust Him with what you can’t see. He already knows what you don’t.

This Sunday, Pastor Jim spoke to us about The Lifestyle of Trust, and it hit home. If you missed it, catch the full message on YouTube now!

Today, as we celebrate our Lead Pastor, Jim Hennesy, turning 70, we pray that this day heralds not only a milestone but also the testimonies of a life that has trusted God.

So Happy Birthday to an amazing leader who continues to model an insatiable hunger for the ways of God. You have modeled endurance through untold stories. As our pastor you have led and nurtured us for over 32 years. And By God’s grace you have built what many consider to be a seminal bastion for those who courageously follow His ways. You’ve imparted courage, wisdom, hope, you’ve entrusted us with opportunities as sons, daughters and congregants alike.

As We see the sun rising on a new season we relish in our inheritance: the awareness of handling holy things, 4 anchoring core values, the legendary Homothumadon, most recently the declaration of a 100% debt free ministry! The list is too numerous for one post….What a way to turn 70!

You are Loved, appreciated, respected, and admired, Happy Birthday! @jimhennesy
You are the 🐐!

A renewed mind changes everything.

If you haven’t repented in a while, could it be that your mind has allowed you to conform to your current circumstances?
But that’s not what God has for us. His Word calls us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. There is freedom in repentance, and there is power in allowing God to renew the way we think.

If you missed this impactful word from Pastor Jim, catch the full message on YouTube now.
