I thank God for calling me to his Kingdom…. 🙏🏿

He was always knocking at my door, wanting me to open up and let him in. Thank God I eventually did! 🚪

No, life isn’t perfect. I still fight battles daily. But now I have help. I still have scars, but now I have healing. At times I feel alone, then I remember I have a friend and Father who loves me dearly. And he loves you too.

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

We don’t have to fight alone anymore. God is with me. He is with you. He loves us so much. I hope you get to experience that love in this life.

Is he knocking at your door? If so, it may be time to let him in.

Open up, you won’t regret it.

Testimony Alert‼️🔊

Earlier this month, what I thought was an ear infection turned out to be something called Bell’s Palsy - a mysterious condition that weakens the muscles on one side of the face. Speaking, eating, and drinking all became more difficult, and the worst of all, I couldn’t really smile anymore (If anyone knows me, I smile 25/7). The doctor told me that there’s a good chance that it will go away in a couple of weeks but also a chance it could take much longer and also a possibility that my smile may never return back to normal.

As he always does, the enemy tried to attack with negative thoughts such as, “What if you’ll never be able to smile again?” However around that time, I was getting deeper revelation of my already healed nature in Christ (Isaiah 53:5), and I knew that it was time to fill myself with the Word of God and speak His truth about my healed identity to combat the lies of the enemy.

It was also a challenge to go to work, meetings, and social events knowing I was dealing this weird condition. However, I went anyway knowing that as children of God, we are light that are not meant to be hidden, but put on display for all to see.

To wrap this story up- Bells or whatever his name is had to quickly pack up and GO! 🤣 My God is a HEALER and I am HEALED!!!! And I’m cherishing my smile now more than ever 🪥😂

I love sharing my testimony even if it’s vulnerable because I remember how much I hated being stuck in those behaviors.

Nothing compares to the freedom and support we have access to in Jesus. He’s truly the source that never runs dry.

Does the thing you go to for relief actually relieve you? Or is it a temporary fix?

I know from personal experience that many of the behaviors we engage in today for comfort cannot give us what we truly need.

Jesus wants to be your true source of comfort. He’s not here to temporarily heal you, but to restore you completely.

He’s here to address the trauma, abandonment, insecurity, and loneliness lying beneath the engagement in risky behaviors.

Soul Sessions🫀

It was all about growing in wisdom, leadership, and emotional awareness.

Our older group talked about how our feelings are identifiers, not leaders. Emotions are real and important, but they shouldn’t control our decisions, we let God’s truth lead us. We also discussed what it looks like to be godly leaders and examples to the younger campers, reflecting on 1 Corinthians 11:1. Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.”

Our middle group focused on understanding feelings, learning healthy ways to navigate emotions, and discovering how to help others process what they’re feeling with kindness and compassion.

Such a meaningful time of learning how to lead with Christ, walk in wisdom, and care for one another. 💙 by @jimmyeno

YAY!! 🎉 Today was extra special because Dr. Lawrion and Mr. Jimmy were both with us in person for Soul Sessions!

During today’s group session with our younger campers, they explored the importance of identifying their feelings and learning healthy ways to respond when their friends are experiencing different emotions. Our campers learned that about their feelings , and how we respond to those feelings and how we care for others through theirs.

Our campers practiced recognizing emotions, building empathy, and discovering ways to encourage, support, and show kindness to friends who may be feeling happy, sad, angry, worried, or overwhelmed. These are life skills that not only strengthen friendships but also help our children reflect the love and compassion of Christ.

We’re so thankful for Dr. Lawrion and Mr. Jimmy for helping them build emotionally healthy hearts is just as important as helping them grow spiritually, and today was another beautiful step in that journey. 💙💛 by @jimmyeno

At Gifted Performing Arts Camp, we believe every student deserves to be seen, heard, and supported. Through Soul Sessions, students are learning healthy ways to process emotions, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and care for their minds, bodies, and spirits.

Because when a child’s soul prospers, they don’t just perform—they flourish.

Let me let you in on a secret.

Did you know that you, yes YOU, are royalty?

BREAKING NEWS- you are the beloved child of a King! And not just any King, the greatest King this world will ever know. The King of the Universe.

Listen to this- out of everything He created, (I’m talking mountains, oceans, stars, galaxies) YOU are His masterpiece. How is that? Because He created you in His image.

And in bearing His image, He gave you dominion and authority over all things in this Earth. All the plants, animals, and all beings in the physical and spiritual realm recognize YOU as royalty.

Before you were born, He knew you and loved you. From the beginning of time, He had a plan for you to remain in His love forever, and spend eternity with Him.

However, as you know, us humans can mess up sometimes. Unfortunately, we fell out of that amazing love, became distant from Him, and fell victim to what we know as death, losing our chance at eternal life.

Coming back to His love was something we would never be able to do by ourselves. He knew that, and He knew we would need to be rescued.

His Son, Jesus Christ, went on the greatest rescue mission of all time to provide a way back to the love of the Father. This mission would be costly (it would cost His life), but He knew YOU were worth dying for.

Not only did He provide a way back to the love of the Father, He conquered death and rose again to eternal life!

Here’s the sweetest part, we have access to that eternal life thanks to Jesus. We can access this by faith in Him, and faith in what He did for us. Hallelujah!

He simply wants you (yes, YOU) to come back home. Here is your reminder that you aren’t just anybody. You are royalty. You are deeply loved. You belong to the creator of the universe. And He’s crazy about you.

Get to know Him. Trust me, it’ll change your life. It changed mine.

Who said?!

Now more than ever, we must protect our minds with the truth that is revealed in the word of God. Don’t give the enemy the satisfaction by believing his lies about who you are. If you ever finding yourself thinking negatively towards yourself or doubting your ability, renew your mind with God’s words about you!
