Some weddings feel special. Some feel unforgettable. And then, once in a while, there is a wedding that reminds you why you fell in love with this profession in the first place. @jitwoomc elaborates ………

‘An unforgettable evening is never accidental. It is carefully designed. As both the wedding emcee and coordinator, my focus was not only on how the wedding looked, but on how it felt from start to finish. A curated program ensures the night flows naturally; building emotions, allowing moments to breathe and keeping guests fully engaged without feeling rushed or restless. Every segment had a purpose, the timing of the grand entrance, the emotional placement of speeches, the seamless transition between courses and key highlights. When the programme is well-designed, guests don’t check the time. They stay present.

As the emcee, guiding the night was an absolute joy. From emotional highlights to laughter echoing across the ballroom, every segment was intentionally paced, allowing emotions to breathe and memories to settle. And when the snowflakes fell during the couple’s key moments, there was an audible gasp from the room. That’s when you know the vision has truly come to life. That magic only happens when timing, atmosphere and emotion align perfectly.

Just when guests thought the night had peaked, the after-party began. Lights dimmed and the DJ took over. The ballroom transformed once again, this time into a vibrant celebration of love, energy and pure joy. Shoes off, hands up and the dance floor stayed full until the very last beat.

As a wedding emcee and coordinator, I believe the most memorable weddings are not just beautifully styled, they are beautifully orchestrated. This celebration was a true reflection of that philosophy and a perfect blend of elegance, emotion, and electrifying fun. A night where love took centrestage, details spoke loudly and the ending was nothing short of legendary. And for me, it was an absolute honour to bring this unforgettable evening to life’.

Sid from @capturedbysid_photography had the pleasure of capturing Nicole and Zeqry’s wedding that was planned by @asianatelier_weddings …… ‘Held at The Agam, a charming venue in Kuala Lumpur inspired by grand colonial architecture featuring a stunning glasshouse, the celebration beautifully intertwined Chinese and Malay traditions, truly reflecting the cultural richness of Malaysia. From the heartfelt Chinese tea ceremony to the sacred Malay Nikah to an elegant Western reception, each part adorned with its own unique attire and décor, every moment showcased a deep respect for each other’s heritage. It was a day rich with meaning, honouring family, culture and the union of two worlds.

For me as a photographer, documenting this wedding carried an even deeper significance. As a French wedding photographer married to a Malaysian, I saw pieces of my own journey mirrored in Nicole and Zeqry’s celebration. The harmony between their traditions reminded me of the beauty and joy of blending cultures, the learning, the connection and the shared creation of something uniquely theirs.

Through my lens, I witnessed not just a wedding, but a powerful expression of unity. The warmth of both families, the effortless merging of customs, and the love that filled The Agam reaffirmed why I am passionate about my craft. Nicole and Zeqry’s celebration was a timeless reminder that love has the extraordinary ability to bridge cultures and bring people together’.
