Chosen! Not cuz I'm perfect, but because I believe in HIM! After competing last week at nogi Pans, I stepped back on the mats at the Houston Open and took gold in both Gi and No-Gi! Always learning, always growing, and always willing to challenge myself. I had to play a different game because of back-to-back tournaments and I learned valuable lessons about my competition game. I thank God for blessing me with a gift and my passion, I thank my wife for being my rock and always there by my side. Blessed to have my Syndicate Team, Heavy Metal Fitness and Relentless supporting me. Big shot out to Luca for his hard fought match in the kids division. We both showed the Syndicate fighting spirit. So blessed. I had a nice performance this weekend at the IBJJF Pan American Championship. I took gold in my division and gold in the absolute division. My teammates and close friends also showed up and performance well. I thank God who is the head of my life, my wife who supports my journey and makes it possible and my kids for believingin me. Team Syndicate, i am because we are, we are because I am. I love my gym because we win together and we lose together. I dont have sponsors, but I am supported by two of the best gyms in San Antonio, Heavy Metal Fitness, led by my lil big brother Tim and my mentor/lil brother Riba and the whole Relentless team in Boerne. #builtdifferent by @jiujitsusyndicatesa
