Blessed and chosen! I had a very successful October. Double gold at nogi Pans and 3 golds at the Houston Open.

I'd like to thank my strength and conditioning coach Tim and Ricky. Tim is my lil big brother and my primary trainer and Ricky is my lil homie and is always there to encourage me and push me. I've been at this gym for going on 3 years and my performance has improved year after year. I would not be doing what im doing at my age without Heavy Metal Fitness.

If you are an athlete in any sport, you need a quality gym.

YOUR BODY IS A TEMPLE

Next Meet 10/25/26 @jiujitsusyndicatesa
1 CORINTHIANS 6:19–20
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19 (NIV)

BEFORE WE GATHER
God calls us to honor Him with more than our words. How we care for our bodies, discipline our habits, and steward our health can all reflect our faith.

Our bodies are not just our own. They are gifts entrusted to us by God.

REFLECT
Am I treating my body as something to honor God with, or only as something to improve for myself?

Don’t lose heart.

Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your faith in Him.

Reflection question: What are you still trusting God for today?

Chosen! Not cuz I'm perfect, but because I believe in HIM!

After competing last week at nogi Pans, I stepped back on the mats at the Houston Open and took gold in both Gi and No-Gi! Always learning, always growing, and always willing to challenge myself. I had to play a different game because of back-to-back tournaments and I learned valuable lessons about my competition game.

I thank God for blessing me with a gift and my passion, I thank my wife for being my rock and always there by my side. Blessed to have my Syndicate Team, Heavy Metal Fitness and Relentless supporting me.

Big shot out to Luca for his hard fought match in the kids division. We both showed the Syndicate fighting spirit.

Thanks for the awesome pics Jen and Jon!

Back to work.
